Owner was a very entertaining man. Music great in bar. Nice introduction to hotel and history. Prosecco served during introduction. Only fault is entry to room is a bit of a musty smell. But it goes away after you’ve been there and lived in room.

Friendly charming Irish hospitality

Lovely stay, excellent food, staff couldn't do enough. Some niggles, menu handed out by reception as tonights meal would change and not always what was printed but the food itself was excellent. Bedroom minor niggles built in ironing board broken , telephone didn't work, safe unable to use, large cracks in plaster in bedroom. Silly housekeeping errors but even this did not spoil the charm of this special hotel.
