*Note: The building is ran on a chiller system. If the temperature drops to 55 degrees give or take 5 degrees, the heat will automatically kick on and the thermostat will have to be shut off or it will blow hot air.
HOUSE RULES
1) All Communication must be through the chat feature on the app.
2) Due to a health hazard to the owners and others who manage this property, this property is NOT Pet Friendly. DO NOT bring any type of animal. If any type of animal is brought onto the property, you will be required to pay an additional cleaning fee.
3) Primary Guests must be 25 years of age or older to rent this property.
4) NO PARTIES ALLOWED. Any guest that has a party will be asked to leave without a refund. ANY Parties will result in a minimum fine of $500.
5) Absolutely NO SMOKING is allowed on the property including Vapes, Marijuana, and Tobacco. Smoking will result in a $250 fine.
6) If there is anything damaged or missing from the property, you will be responsible to replace and/or pay for the repair.
7) Quiet time from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM (even on weekends, no loud music or any loud noise during quiet time)
8) Checkout is at 10:00 AM. Check-In Time 3:00 PM.
9) There is a lost key fee of $50 for any key that is lost and not recoverable.
10) No Refunds on reservations canceled due to a violation of our House Rules.

REPAIRS:
We do our best to provide each guest with the best vacation experience possible. However, just like in your home, sometimes issues might occur that require attention. Some issues do not interrupt nor disturb your stay and can be dealt with once your vacation is over. Other issues will require immediate attention and must be reported as soon as they occur.

The time to report them is NOT upon or after checkout of a multiple-night stay as there will be no compensation in those instances because we will consider them livable according to your standards. If you are experiencing a stay-altering issue with the property, we will get you moved to a different location immediately. Clear and Concise Communication is paramount.

– Log out of all streaming apps you logged into on the televisions.
– Be sure all windows are closed and locked.
– Please be sure the door is locked as you leave - If applicable, place the key in the lockbox and scramble the code.

Not a good place to stay for vacation unless you're a group of college kids who wont be inside much. There were holes in the ceiling from water leaks. Our condo did NOT face the beach, the ad gives you the impression your balcony is facing the ocean. We actually faced into the balconies of another complex. Bugs were present. Musty smelling like black mold is in the walls and ceiling. A lot of things were rusty. Bed is wore out and nasty smelling pillows were hard as a rock. We had to sleep on top of the sheets. Host gave no apology but did offer a refund. Unfortunately, if you don't book ahead of time in this area then you will be charged more so it wasn't affordable to switch.

Everything was as advertised but we were traveling during the Thanksgiving holiday and the AC was not cooling the apt below 78. I was able to reach owner but was told AC is handled by HOA and they would try to contact in the AM. Lucky for us a cold front came through and we didn't need it after the first day

My experience at this property was overall unsatisfactory. While the listing didn’t mention it, there was major construction starting at 6 AM right next door, which made it very difficult to rest or relax. This should have been disclosed.There was also no air conditioning for an entire day during extremely hot weather (around 90F), and I had to leave the property to find a cooler place to spend the day. No alternative solution was provided by VRBO or the property manager, which was frustrating.The internet connection was spotty at times, though the property manager was responsive about it—however, I still had to deal with the property management office directly.The only real positive was the location—it’s conveniently close to the beach.Given the issues, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless these problems are addressed or clearly communicated in advance.

It's an older bldg and needs some upkeep. The shower head leaked, and got replaced, so good for next guests. The ac went out for a day, and the fans did OK to make it manageable. We replaced the pillows, quick trip to Walmart fixed that. Location is great, and easy to get around. Dining at local pubs and restaurants made the trip really nice.

Cockroaches

Found a cockroach during our stay so ended our vacation early. Host refused to give a full refund and downplayed the situation stating that "there was one roach" and "florida has pests and we combat them." I don't recommend people to stay here.

It was a great experience staying at the Blue Marlin for the most part. We were woken up around 7:15 am each morning with the construction going on next door. It seemed to quiet down in the afternoon. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable. The place itself was very clean and nice. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. The people we met there were friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Nice beachside condo

We spent a month at this second floor beach view condo. The condo has the usual furniture/ equipment that one would expect in a rental. There is a coin operated laundry on site. We had a minor problem ( the motor in the bedroom fan was failing , and the owner had it fixed ASAP). Very responsive.What we loved was the proximity to the beach. It’s literally across the parking lot ! We spent lots of time there. We also enjoyed sitting in the provided chairs out on the communal walkway looking at the ocean. The condo is located on a quiet part of the beach,which we loved. It’s also about one mile from Publix, the Dollar store, etc. we loved it so much , that we plan to return next year !

Fine - but construction noise is significant

Property was fine but refrigerator broke in first week and it took 5 days until the replacement part was avail. Building going on behind the property is extremely loud and when hammering pilings in can shake the building a bit.

We Will Be Back

What a perfect spot for a beach day. It is right by the beach access point and with the private parking included there is no stress on finding a spot close by so we don’t have to drag all the things for your beach day. We were able to run back to the room if we forgot something or to nap our toddler or simply take a break from the sun yet we could head back a few hours later no stress. The location is also great because of the close proximity to many food and drink options. We were so excited to see the condo had a closet filled with beach day luxuries that couldn’t make the flight with us (beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, & body boards). The condo itself is great as well. Nice open living room/ full kitchen. Many storage closets and dressers. A pack and play and lots of extra bedding/towels. Everything was clean and just what you need for a stay. We can’t wait to come back!

great place close to the beach

We had a great time at the Marlin even though we were under Tornado warning for a whole 24 hours but that is Florida for you. We felt safe in our place. The comforter of the master bedroom smelled a bit funky but everything else was clean. It was great to just go down the stairs and out on to the beach. Since we had listed that we were coming with 3 people I had expected for them to prepare the extra bed for us. But it was put together quickly and we slept well.

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Marlin. The chairs and bed were comfortable. The linen closet was fully stocked with towels for the beach and bathroom. You could see the ocean from the windows. It was very clean. The building is older so there was no private balconies or lots of amenities. There was a coin operated washer and dryer on site.
