Casas da Couraça - Bocage

Casas da Couraça were designed to be the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful city of Coimbra. From the balconies of this spacious 2-bedroom apartment located on the 1st floor, you will fall in love with the magnificent landscape of the city and the calm waters of the Mondego River. Bocage gives its name to a recently renovated apartment, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, equipped to comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests.

The Bocage apartment shares its name with one of the most famous Portuguese poets.

It offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room. The spacious and fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your meals. Wireless Internet and cable TV allow you to work or simply relax after a day exploring the surrounding area.

This apartment can comfortably accommodate 4 people. In total, there are 4 single beds that can be converted into 2 double beds if you prefer.

When staying at Casas da Couraça, guests will have access to the entire apartment. Bed linen, towels and check-out cleaning service are included in the price. On request, we can provide a cot and highchair free of charge.

All our accommodations undergo a rigorous cleaning and disinfection process between stays. The apartments are ventilated and all bed linen and towels are changed and subjected to high temperatures.

Check-in is autonomous via code access. We are available via cell phone or email to answer any questions you may have regarding your stay in the apartment or about the city. We can suggest itineraries, places to eat and enjoy leisure activities, among others. During your stay you will always have access to a contact number for whatever you need.

Halfway between the upper and lower parts of Coimbra, the Casas da Couraça are part of the houses of the old walled city, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A short distance away, you can visit the main University complex, explore the alleys of the Upper Town or head down to the busy streets of the Lower Town where you can find restaurants, cafes and all kinds of services. A walk along the Mondego River or a visit to Portugal dos Pequenitos, everything is accessible from this privileged location with superb views over the Mondego River and Santa Clara.

Access to the apartment is exclusively via stairs. Not recommended for people with reduced mobility.
