The neighborhood has an amazing small town feel, walking distance to Downtown Monument. There are also great mountain views off the front of the property. On Saturdays, there is a local farmers market you can walk to, Many locally owned restaurants and shops within walking distance as well.
We recommend people renting cars for their trip to Monument/Colorado Springs. The town also has bike/kayak/flat board rentals available!
The Sante Fe Trail goes south from Monument to downtown Colorado Springs & north to Greenland Ranch, Spruce Mountain Open Space & Mount Herman all within biking distance from the house. These area will provide some of the best mountain biking, hiking and walking this area has to offer. Locally owner restaurants, pubs and breweries. Please Note the owner is highly allergic to many things including animals. Please do not bring them with you.
