Located 5 minutes from Downtown COS this house is in the perfect location to find lots of shopping, dining, parks, fun venues & other great activities for the whole family--no car needed! This charming 2 Bed 2 Bath home is in a safe & quiet neighborhood; you’ll see people walking their dogs, lime scooters around & lots of parks with fun events happening just down the street! This gem is absolutely perfect for any traveling need you might have: with its central Downtown Colorado Springs location but quiet, safe & relaxing feel.

Front Porch:
As soon as you arrive at the house, step up to your private, covered front porch and find a cute porch swing ready to lounge on with a nice cup of coffee and enjoy the day away!

Living Room:
Stepping in from the front porch, guests will find a large family room with a 63” smart TV ready to sign in to your favorite networks & a stylish yet super comfortable sectional couch which can be converted into a full size bed for extra guests. The coffee table is stocked with board games, cards, books & lots of pamphlets with local attractions & recommendations. Near the street facing windows is a dining table which can seat 6-8 people, has a high chair for kiddos and lots of natural light. Lastly, in the quietest corner of this large gathering room is a designated workspace with 400 Mbps of speedy internet and a cute cubby for all your office needs.

Bedroom #1 with Queen Bed:
The first bedroom is right off the family room & has a queen size bed with plush bedding & a 40’’ smart TV with apps installed and ready to sign in. This room is complete with a closet, luggage rack, laundry hamper, the Pack N’ Play and extra clothes hangers. Here guests will find a window air conditioning unit, a detached bathroom just steps away and a private entrance to the covered front porch.

Bedroom #2 with Queen Bed:
The second bedroom is located near the kitchen and has a queen size bed with plush bedding. This room is complete with a closet and large dresser, a luggage rack, laundry hamper and extra clothes hangers. This is also where guests will find extra linens for the couch. In this bedroom, guests will find an en-suite bathroom with a shower and tub. Both bathrooms have towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup wipes and a blow-dryer.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d need to make a delicious meal. Provided is a microwave, coffee machine, blender, toaster, slow cooker, & tea kettle. The cabinets are stocked with plenty of pots, pans, bowls, plates & cups. To ensure the most convenient stay possible, wine glasses & a wine opener are supplied. Guests will also find a small kids table, child friendly dishes including sippy cups & plastic dishes if they’d like to enjoy a meal in the backyard. You’ll find olive oil, salt, pepper, and other basic seasonings as well as coffee & tea bags are complimentary. Lastly, guests are completely free to use the walk-in pantry where extra supplies such as laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, the iron & ironing board & cleaning supplies such as the broom and vacuum are stored.

Backyard:
The large fully fenced-in backyard is perfect to relax the day away. Guests will find multiple lounge chairs (even some for kids!) a large outdoor table with an umbrella, a bench, and a small couples table to enjoy and sip some drinks. Guests will also find timed fairy lights if they'd prefer to enjoy an evening outside.

**OTHER THINGS TO NOTE**:
This house is the first and largest unit of 3 different units located in one building (triplex). Please keep in mind there is a small apartment above you and you will be sharing common areas such as the backyard and laundry area with other people. Guests booking this unit do have a private entrance at the front porch and priority over the porch however, you might see your 1 neighbor or other guests around common areas or to collect their mail located on the porch. We greatly appreciate your patience and friendliness with other guests and neighbors!

This house was built in 1910 so please understand while it has a lot of history and memories, it also has some quirks you could expect from an older home. Guests might experience some creakiness in the floors and some stiffness with the bathroom features, we hope it adds to the charm and appreciate your patience and care with the older home! THERE ARE RING SECURITY CAMERAS ON THE DOORBELL AND IN THE BACKYARD. These are here to ensure guest safety. Thank you.

Overall it was great, but it was a dirty place. The bathroom with the tub had hair all over the place when we first arrived. We also found a sock in a couch cushion and under a pillow on the couch, that was not ours! We also didn’t realize we would have people above us, which was fine. However, they woke us up around 1am a couple nights and were usually making noise around 6am.

This is a great location within Colorado Springs - very close to CC's beautiful campus as well as downtown - extremely walkable and easy to park at. There were some issues with the listing versus reality (dirty dish towels, expired food out, and plywood over the windows in the second bedroom that weren't in the photos) - but overall, a comfortable place to stay. However, I did choose this in part for the amenity of a washing machine, which the listing said it had, but the washing machine was in a shared basement space and was pay-only, which I don't consider to be the same as the expected in-home (free) washing machine that one assumes when seeing that amenity listed without caveats.

Property was clean and as pictured.Beds were comfortable. Close to restaurants etc and maybe it was just a noisy weekend but could hear a lot of vehicle noise overnight. Had a bit of an issue contacting property manager when the smart lock didn’t work on our last day. Aprox 30 min delay in a response but she did eventually get us back into property and indicated we could have a late check out due to the issue. Things happen though.

This is a great place to stay if you are in town visiting a student at CC or want to be near downtown Colorado Springs for business or pleasure. Easy, level walking to everywhere you could possibly want to go. Plenty of space for your stuff (we were moving a student into college, so we needed space). Easy parking. Plenty of seating for the whole family. Very clean, and host responsive to questions. Excellent value. Recommend!

Quiet relaxing home

Perfect for our small family. Enjoyed the patio swing ALOT! The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The house was clean, quiet and relaxing!Communication with owner was excellent. Highly recommend. Next time I'm in town, I'll stay again!

Great location

We enjoyed being able to walk to dinner and the park. Quiet neighborhood, easy parking, historic charm. Make sure you bring quarters for the shared laundry facility. We made a run to the penny arcade to make change (what a fun excuse to play games)!

Clean and well-equipped

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom was in place, clean, and plentiful. No dishwasher so be prepared to hand wash. This place is the main floor of a historic home, which has been divided up for rentals on the top floor. The tenants were quiet 
 no issues at all, but of course you will hear them coming and going. A short walk took us to downtown COS to shops and dining. Parking was always available.
