Enjoyed our stay. Corey was responsive and helpful. Positive things- bathroom was fun, kitchen was well supplied, coffee was abundant, backyard is super cute and set up well to eat and hang out outdoors, upstairs was great for kids to play. Negative things- the neighborhood is kinda run down, near a few boarded up houses (but we had no problems there). The doors do not lock to the bathrooms/bedrooms. The living room was not well suited for a family to hang out and watch movies comfortably (will sit 5 well), the futon upstairs was not very comfortable for my kids to sleep on..they slept on the floor instead. I hope my review helps you and overall we really enjoyed our stay and was thankful for Corey and his desires to help us if needed.

When we pulled onto the street we were very concerned about the location. When I parked out front the WHOLE area was covered in glass. My boyfriend got out and told me where to park as I didn’t want a flat tire. Upon entering the house we didn’t notice anything until we started to unload food in the kitchen. When we opened the fridge we were hit with the smell of old food. We smelled it all weekend. The walls / baseboards were dirty. The bedroom with the bunk beds sheets for nasty. They were rough and you felt little cotton balls ( depill ) on them like they were washed with towels . The room next to that room could feel the springs to their bed, the bottom of their blanket smelled like feet. The master bed was extremely uncomfortable, they could feel the springs to their bed. There were NO hand towels at all. The backyard looked awful. The grass was extremely long with weeds every where. The grill didn’t have one full propane tank.

Weekend stay in Columbus

We had a great weekend stay at this house. The house was very easily accessible from the main highway and not far from the city center. The garage was an added bonus, especially since we had frost in the morning. The outdoor space was very appealing also, however time constraints and the colder temperature prevented us from taking advantage of it. The house was spacious and well stocked with amenities. We especially enjoyed the Nespresso machine! We would highly recommend this house.

Nice house that fit our needs great!

Very well renovated house, I stayed here with my teammates on a trip for a meet! It was about six of us total and we all had somewhere to sleep which was great. All the amenities were as pictured and it was very nice overall. The neighborhood was definitely a little underdeveloped but to no fault of the home itself. Pretty close to downtown and within a good distance to all the important things! All in all a good stay and we were pretty content. Host was also very responsive and helpful the entire time which was great!

Great weekend get away

Best home away from home for us

This was a great house for us. We were in town for appointments at Nationwide Childrens. As the listing notes, the house is minutes away from Nationwide Childrens (I can confirm it is literally 5 minutes away from the hospital). The house is easily accessed from the highway yet deeply set in a residential area. The neighborhood is actively evolving as there is new construction and renovations occurring throughout. There are also some very beautiful more historic homes in the area. The neighborhood is diverse and inclusive. We felt very at ease and comfortable in this house. It was literally the best home away from home we could have ever wanted. The backyard was amazing as well as the deck (unfortunately, the weather wasn't really cooperative so we didn't get to enjoy these amenities). The owners were fantastic to work with, very responsive, and so kind! Everything, beginning from the check-in process to the check-out, went very smoothly. As much as it pains me and upsets me, I do want to point out one very important thing: As the listing notes, this area is in the process of gentrification. This means that while the neighborhood is seeing an influx of more middle-class and higher individuals and/or families, there are also those who may be considered low-income that live in the area. If you are not willing to accept people of every age, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, income, etc., don't stay here. The great people of this area don't need to be bothered.

Hollyhood - It's a compliment

This home is absolute wonderful. We only utilized w bedrooms, but there was more than enough room to accommodate others. We especially loved the upstairs loft. I've posted pics of our Xmas Eve dinner and folks have hit me up about the home, countertops, other decor they can see. I grew up in Westerville, so this area of town was the hood. Technically, it still is with a new name - Old Town East. Area was quiet and there are other homes being renovated in the area too. Patio eating too, man all they need is a pool!! LOVED IT. OH, the hosts are very responsive too, but you really won't need to bother them. The house runs itself..

Girl’s Weekend

My college (Miami of Ohio,1989) girlfriends and I had a wonderful time at this property! Everything was pristine and welcoming. Our host was so easy to communicate with and responsive to any requests. Definitely recommend this property!
