The reflections of the gentle waters of Lake Como; the historic center of the city, dominated by the Duomo; romantic sunsets behind green mountains: breathtaking views that will make your vacation an unforgettable experience at LUCE DI LAGO TERRACE! This originally furnished three-room apartment will amaze you with its spacious rooms, making it ideal for families and groups of friends. You can see the lake from every window of the house!
Upon entrance, you are welcomed by a functional space for storing shoes, jackets, and backpacks, which leads to the large open-plan living room. The U-shaped kitchen is modern and fully equipped with everything you need, inviting you to prepare lunches and dinners with friends while enjoying an aperitif on the counter. The large and cozy dining table for six is the heart of evenings spent recounting the highlights of the day and sharing the flavors discovered in the local markets. Opposite the table, you will find your focus in the smart working area with a desk and chair, perfect for work and study. The comfortable sofa awaits you for moments of relaxation, watching a movie, reading a book, or listening to good music.
The wonderful terrace will take your breath away! With its 30 square meters, suspended between the sky and the lake, it is furnished for outdoor living throughout the summer, with armchairs for coffee and aperitifs, an outdoor kitchen with sink, and a large table for 6 where you can enjoy the spectacular view. There is also a barbecue for grilling under the stars.
There are two bedrooms. The romantic double bedroom is furnished with a chest of drawers and a wardrobe for storing your clothes, and has access to a private bathroom with two sinks and a shower with stone flooring. The second bedroom is a quadruple, furnished with a sofa that converts into a double bed and a truly special boat-inspired bunk bed that will delight the little ones in the family: they will have fun with the basket that can be lowered from above and an intercom for fun chats between the upper and lower beds! This room has access to a second bathroom with shower, equipped with a washing machine and dryer for maximum comfort even on longer holidays.
Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided. We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.
The apartment has a portable air conditioner to cool down on hot days.
The apartment has a private outdoor parking space in the condominium area.
For additional cars, paid parking is available outside the city walls. Among the nearest parking lots are those in Via Tommaso Grossi, Viale Varese and the surrounding area, and the Valduce parking garage.
Please note: the apartment is located on the 5th floor of a historic building with no elevator. You will need to climb a few flights of external stairs, but it is well worth the effort for the breathtaking view!
LUCE DI LAGO TERRACE is close to the woods, and you may find some insects in the house and outside: this is completely normal in this natural setting, but the view and the peace and quiet will make up for it. At sunset, if you look out from the back of the apartment, you may be lucky enough to see deer and wild boars!
A private staircase (key access) shortens the walk to Como Cathedral to just 10 minutes.
Just behind the building, there is a mule track that leads to Brunate, passing by the hermitage of San Donato and crossing a small section of the “Lake Como Poestry Way,” a path decorated with beautiful poems.

In just 8-10 minutes on foot, you can reach the walled city, stroll through the cobbled streets, shops, bars, restaurants, churches, and charming squares. In 10 minutes you can reach: the famous Piazza Duomo, with its wonderful cathedral (which you can see from the apartment) and its Broletto, both worth visiting; Piazza San Fedele, a charming little square with the Romanesque basilica of the same name; Via Vittorio Emanuele, one of the most famous shopping streets; Piazza Volta, very lively for aperitifs and after-dinner drinks outdoors all year round; Porta Torre, one of the historic entrances to the walled city.
Also within a 10-minute walk is Piazza Cavour, Como's largest square, where you can take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat to the most famous lakeside towns (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna).
On foot or by renting city bikes, you can reach Villa Olmo and its park by following the picturesque walkway that starts from the Hangar, and Villa Geno by following the lakeside promenade of Viale Geno. At the beginning of Viale Geno, there is also the funicular station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse, where you can stop for lunch in one of the many restaurants or continue with a panoramic trek towards the Lario mountains, stopping at one of the mountain huts you will encounter along the way. Brunate can also be reached by following part of the “Lake Como Poetry Way”: the path passes right behind the condominium and leads to the village through woods decorated with poems by famous writers (such as Alda Merini).

By car, from the A9 motorway, take the Como Lago exit and set your GPS: you will reach the condominium in 15 minutes.
By train, if you get off at Como S. Giovanni station, take bus C46 and get off at the “Como - popolo (Via Dante)” stop, then walk for 10 minutes; or go to the “Como - S. Ronchetto” stop and take bus No. 7, then continue on foot for 15 minutes. If you get off at the Como Lago station, you will reach the apartment in 15 minutes on foot.
