Willkommen in Lahti mökki ('Bay Cottage') an den Ufern des Lake Superior, in einer einzigartigen Umgebung auf einem geschĂŒtzten Hafen. Die Stadt von Copper Harbor verfĂŒgt ĂŒber alle Notwendigkeiten mit einem kleinen Lebensmittelladen, mehrere gute Restaurants, eine Brauerei, ein Yachthafen und ein FĂ€hrhafen fĂŒhren direkt zur Isle Royale. Verbringen Sie Ihre Tage Mountainbike fahren, Bootfahren, Schwimmen, Wandern, Lesen, oder einfach nur entspannen auf dem privaten Dock oder große 2. Stock Deck. Vergessen Sie auch ein Auto haben, werden Sie nicht brauchen!

Dies ist einer von nur 15 Kabinen mit privaten Wasser am Hafen. Das 4-Jahreszeiten-Veranda ist nur 5 'vom Wasser entfernt! Genießen Sie SonnenuntergĂ€nge vom Balkon ĂŒber der Veranda und dem Schlafzimmer oder dem privaten Dauer Pier. Moor Ihr Boot aus dem Dock und Fisch, Ski oder fahren schöne Lake Superior. Wenn Sie tagsĂŒber Abenteuern fertig sind - zu Fuß, Paddel, oder Motor zu den köstlichen Speisen (und einer Brauerei!) nur wenige Blocks entfernt. Verwenden Lahti mökki als Ihr Basislager fĂŒr eine Übernachtung Reise nach Isle Royal, mit der FĂ€hre abfliegen 3 Blocks entfernt.

Dieses Haus wurde 1950 erbaut, aber wurde vor kurzem renoviert und sorgfĂ€ltig gepflegt. Hier finden Sie alle Komfort von zu Hause mit neuen Betten und BettwĂ€sche, eigener WĂ€sche auf der 2. Etage und aktualisiert KĂŒche und BĂ€der haben.

Bei Ihrer Ankunft werden Sie das offene Konzept ersten Stock mit großer KĂŒche Öffnung in Wohn- / Esszimmer, die dem riesigen 4 Saison Veranda verbindet eingeben. Die Veranda hat einen Esstisch, Lesebank, und ein Twin-Size-Bett fĂŒr diejenigen, die schlafen, um den Klang der Wellen am Ufer gefallen.

Gehen Sie nach oben, um eine Waschmaschine und Trockner in der Diele, und 1/2 Bad auf der linken Seite. Fahren Sie mit dem Master-Schlafzimmer und Bad auf der linken Seite, mit Blick auf die riesige Terrasse ĂŒber dem Portal. Am Ende des Flurs auf der rechten Seite ist das 2. Schlafzimmer, mit Fenstern mit Blick nach Osten. Beide Schlafzimmer sind mit großen Betten und eine Kommode.

We’ve stayed multiple times and the property always allows us time to slow down and relax. The house is always clean and has everything we need. And the dock holds some sort of power that just makes you pull up a chair and watch the world go by.

Great Location in Copper Harbor

First time staying in Copper Harbor. This home perfectly located. We were an easy walk from all restaurants and shops, as well as the Copper Harbor trail system. Location on the harbor was amazing. Amenities within the home more than met the needs of our family of five. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice spot

The location was everything on this trip. Beautiful spot on the water! We did have to run to the general store to buy toilet paper, and there were quite a few burnt out lightbulbs in the house, but overall it was a comfortable stay. We stayed in mid October and a lot of the little shops and restaurants shut down October 15th so it’s good to plan ahead if you’re counting on those places for entertainment/food.

Copper Harbor Escape

Our family of four enjoyed our week in Copper Harbor. We loved the lake access and spending mornings and evenings on the water. We would definitely stay here again. So convenient to walk to the shops/restaurants and enough to see in the area to stay busy.

Beautiful Location

The cottage is very nice and the location is spectacular. The cottage is very comfortable with both bedrooms and the 1 and 1/2 baths upstairs. When we were inside, we spent most of our time on the enclosed porch . The cottage is just feet from the water and has wonderful views. The dock out front is big and very sturdy. We took advantage of using the canoe that was there. The location was great for exploring around Copper Harbor. Brockway Drive is always a "must do" and we enjoyed Ft. Wilkins, and went to the Delaware Mine and the museum in Calumet. We would definitely recommend this lovely spot.

Simple, Refined, and Sublime in The Harbor

We had a fantastic stay during our week in late-June 2021. The cottage is ideally located for what can become a busy hamlet during vacation seasons -- it is walking distance to everything, but tucked away from the main street and high-traffic areas enough to afford privacy. Of course, the waterfront location is incredible, and clearly enviable, as this cottage is one of only about a dozen to have it! Inside, the furnishings are warm, inviting, and fully appointed. Full linens/towels/bedding, and in the kitchen a good stock of basic pots/pans/cutlery/cooking tools, and a cabin-worthy collection of plates, glasses, and utensils. Having a dishwasher, disposal, gas range, and large fridge in the kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer for laundry spoils any resident. The bedroom/sleeping setup is great for 2-4 adults, however, the single twin bed on the porch could get cold during chilly spring and fall nights. The fireplace in the main living area is inoperative, but likely for safety and cleanliness reasons...not a reason for renters to complain! The owner/host has clearly put a lot of work into making this a clean, inviting, and updated vacation rental. Overall, in an often overlooked area "at the end of the world" as the like to say in the Keweenaw, this is a prime property. Perfect base-camp for biking, hiking, touristing, and even fishing (we caught a few small splake off the updated dock...next time, I could see bringing a boat up here to simply fish the entire harbor). We will certainly be keeping Lahti Mokki at the top of our list for future getaways!

It turned into a gift.

We had planned to go there with our son and his family, but we stayed home to be safe from the travel exposure. They were so enthusiastically pleased with everything about it and our hearts soared to feel we could give them a break in a place that in their words was "just what (they) needed" They had a fabulous time. Our son caught some nice splice right off the pier!

Nice cottage, perfect location. Be ready for no cell phone reception or TV. I didn’t miss either of those things but my hubby went through a little withdrawal, he loves news and financial news. WiFi connection was good and had no issues. Would stay here again. Owner was quick to respond to any questions.

UP excursion

Found this place available after deciding to go to the UP at the last minute. The location of this property if fantastic. Beautiful views! Great screened in front room 10 feet from the water. Excellent dock. Copper Harbor is a little isolated, which is just what we were looking for. No cell service, but Corrin has excellent WiFi, and you can use WiFi calling from the house. Very comfortable and homey space. It is better than than pictures suggest. I would come back here again and again, both for the peaceful surroundings and comfort of the space.

Great relaxing week!

Best location in town with a fantastic dock for kayaking and lake access. Very close to hiking and biking trails and some really beautiful scenery. Fellow stargazers, you’ll get completely lost in the night sky from the dock or the deck! The house was very clean and nice inside and had everything we needed - loved the big porch on the lake. It was exactly what we wanted, and Corrin was quick to respond to our questions. We’d definitely choose to stay here again if we come back to the area.

Great Stay in Copper Harbor!

My family enjoyed a wonderful week in Copper Harbor. The location of the home is perfect: walkable, yet private, with a beautiful view of the harbor sunrise and sunset. We very much enjoyed sitting on the dock and taking in the natural beauty; lots of wildlife to watch in the mornings and evening. The canoe was a huge added bonus to paddle around and take in a different perspective. The house was immaculately clean and laid out in a convenient way. Communication with the owner was easy and clear. We booked our stay at the property for the following year before we even left! Can't wait to go back!

What a place....

The property is great. Inside has everything you need, comfortable beds, good bathroom with lots of hooks for drying things, and a lot of options for spending time with each other (or separating if that’s needed, lol). But the star of this place for us was the dock. It basically has magical powers that make you want to slow down and relax. Spent a lot of time just watching the harbor activity (wildlife, boaters, kayakers, etc) during the day. Followed that up with great sunsets and star gazing. Thanks to the owners for sharing such a great place with the world!
