The apartment of 100 sq.m. of the second floor of the Venetian apartment building, a few steps from the Spianada, the large square of Corfu, and Liston, with entrance to the street named after the patron saint of the island, Agios Spyridon, at number 15, opposite the church of Agios Eleftherios , was recently renovated in all of it with a lot of care and passion and projected in front of us like a charming young flower on an age-old tree with deep roots.

The kitchen-dining room and the one bedroom with their four windows overlook Artis Street, in one of the quietest and most airy cantons of the city. On the same floor there is another large apartment and three smaller ones on each of the other two floors, in which small well-to-do local families live permanently.

The house is a mansion until about 1950 and today with a mansion air that is given by the elaborate carvings on the doors and their caskets, but also the six large and characteristic windows that diffuse the transparent light of the Ionian Sea into the three very spacious rooms, cool summer and warm in winter with its large exterior walls, with air conditioning separately in all three rooms, at the same time with the modern and simple decoration, with the bright white floor and the white plaster ceiling and the impressive lighting, equipped with everything we ask today from a modern house, cute and light as a small countess, is waiting to offer you something of its coolness.

The elevator is missing and the three uphill wooden stairs are there, as before, to remind us of the sweet effort of the ascent and of course the ease of the descent.
