Back at the house, 4,000 square feet of indoor living space will easily accommodate multiple or extended families. An exterior elevator is ideal for renters with mobility needs and makes checking in and out hassle-free. Skip the stairs and use it to send luggage and groceries to the upper floors. A reverse floorplan takes full advantage of the soundfront location, with the main living area on the top level where everyone can enjoy the panoramic water views. There's plenty of space to entertain in the open-concept great room with comfortable seating and a cozy gas fireplace. This fabulous gathering area leads out to a soundfront deck where you can admire the dazzling sunsets with a refreshing beverage in hand. Back inside, the generously sized kitchen features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, including two dishwashers that make clean-up for large groups a breeze. An island with bar seating for four plus a large dining table for ten allows everyone to sit down and enjoy meals together. Guests can also choose to dine al fresco in the screened porch located just off the kitchen.

When it's time to wind down for the evening, make your way to the top-level primary suite with king bed, private bath and stunning sound views. The mid-level consists of four more bedrooms, including two additional soundfront king ensuites for plenty of privacy. The den serves as a second hang-out space, featuring a wet bar and access to a waterfront covered deck with bubbly hot tub. Downstairs, the rec room is furnished with a pool table for hours of indoor entertainment. There's even a kitchenette with full-size fridge and microwave for convenient drinks and snacks. Also on the ground level you'll find a tucked-away bonus area with bunkbed and twin bed that can be used for alternative sleeping arrangements.

For some much-anticipated beach time, walk or bike over to the Corolla Light Oceanfront Complex less than half a mile away, where you'll find three outdoor pools, a snack bar, shuffleboard, volleyball, basketball and a playground. Or use the nearby trolley stop and take the shuttle anywhere you want to go within Corolla Light, including the Sports Complex. This impressive 36,000 sq. ft. facility includes an indoor pool, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, a fitness center with showers and a sauna, racquetball, walleyball, ping pong, and weekly classes/activities.

Silence of the Clams' location is perfect for guests who want to leave the car in the driveway and experience Corolla on foot or bike. Use the crosswalk to quickly make your way across the street to shopping and dining at the Corolla Light Town Center. A pedestrian path will lead you north to famous Corolla attractions including The Whalehead Club, Historic Corolla Park, the Currituck Maritime Museum, and of course, the Currituck Lighthouse.
