The Space

This A-frame style home is cozy, laid-back, and loaded with character. A wall of windows brings the outdoors in, and the open-concept main room is perfect for relaxing, playing games, or enjoying meals together. Outside, a large yard offers space to grill, dine, and unwind under the trees. Inside, each bedroom has been thoughtfully refreshed with comfort and simplicity in mind.

Please note: There are stairs to a lofted area (and the king bed bedroom) with railings, and the staircase is steep—see our safety notes for more information.

Please note the following important safety and accessibility considerations for this property:

The stairs leading to the second floor (primary bedroom and one of the two full baths) and loft are relatively steep, though they do have a hand railing.

There is an open balcony area with a railing. However, children could slip through the railing relatively easily.

These features may present challenges or safety risks for individuals with mobility limitations, young children, or anyone who may be impaired or unsteady (e.g., due to intoxication, fatigue, etc.).

The laundry area is located in the basement, which also requires navigating a set of stairs.

We strongly recommend that all guests — especially those traveling with children or individuals with limited mobility — carefully review the listing photos of the stairs, loft, and balcony before booking. It’s important to ensure the layout and features of the home are safe and comfortable for your group. If you decide to book with small children we recommend keeping the children away from the stairs, second floor, and basement stairs. We welcome guests traveling with children, but we want to be 100% transparent and set expectations and ensure a safe and stress free trip. *****BEACH PASSES AND KEYS: Your stay includes a beach pass and a physical key (electronic locks do not work with the doors at Little House in the Woods) , please handle them with care to ensure they are not lost or stolen. Beach passes are expensive and take weeks to replace — if lost, there will be a FEE equal to the replacement cost of the pass (~$500) AND AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO WHAT WE WILL NEED TO COMPENSATE FUTURE GUESTS for not having this highly desired amenity. IF FUTURE GUESTS CANCEL DUE TO THIS ITEMS BEING LOST WE WILL REQUEST COMPENSATION. This could equal a thousand dollars or more! PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS. The situation will negatively impact future guest experiences for weeks to come (and the home’s positive track record will be in jeopardy). Keys have a $250 replacement fee. Please lock your car if the pass is inside (these do get stolen!), keep track of both items, and return them to their original spots before checkout. Guests have full access to the home, deck, yard, garage (for bikes and beach gear), and private driveway. The house is not visible from the road, and you`ll access it via a long gravel driveway. Parking is available for multiple vehicles.

Little House in the Woods is hosted by ProHost® (Erin & Chuck), trusted Cape Cod vacation rental managers who work closely with the homeowners to ensure your stay is smooth, relaxing, and memorable. They’re responsive, helpful, and happy to offer local tips or assistance as needed—just reach out anytime!

Please review the stairs and loft photos before booking. The stairs to the loft are steep and may not be suitable for very young children or guests with mobility challenges. A safety disclosure is included in your welcome information.

PLEASE NOTE: All cancellations (even those within the full or partial refund window) will be net of credit card fees (~4% per transaction). We have no control over these fees and when they are charged they are gone for good. We`ve researched far and wide and have not found a solution to this issue. By booking you agree to this policy.
