I’m going to start with the good first. The manager at this property is the best I’ve ever experienced! He was very receptive, and did his best to make our stay comfortable.
The breakfast was wonderful. They ran out of food about 1/2 hour before closing on Sunday, but I think everyone was able to get something.
The pool and hot tub were ok. The key reader is not working, so you have to go to the desk every time you want in. The hot tub is a good temp. The pool is great for kids.
Now. We had issues with the television. (I was with tech savvy kids, and they couldn’t get it to work) We had to wait over a hour the first night to get a maintenance person to fix. The next morning, same problem. This time however, my daughter was able to get it to work.
The hotel itself is in a pretty good spot. Close to lots of stuff. It is an older hotel though. The carpets are terrible. Hallways, and our room had numerous stains. Our bathroom had food (or something) splattered on the wall. The room suited our needs, but it was very dark. Poor lighting which made me worry about what we weren’t able to see.
All in all, it was an okay place to stay. If I go to Omaha again, I will probably find somewhere else though.
