Beautiful Spot on Smith Lake

Beloved lakeside property custom built by owner. Beautiful wide views on Rock Creek. The house has modern finishes and appears to sit right on top of the water. This modern house has 4 bedrooms and a bunk room. Upstairs has two queen bedrooms and the loft has a full bed. and bath. Downstairs has a king bedroom and the bunk room has 4 beds. It sleeps 8 to 12 guest. The outside has great views from the deck as well as a fire pit area. Washer and Dryer are available as well. Rock Creek Marina is just around the corner for any of your boating needs.

Lake House Get Away with Friends

The property was clean and decorated really cool. We had everything we needed. The dock was really nice. Plenty of room with the swim platform. Plenty of chairs and the owner allowed us to use the kayak and paddle board. The location on the lake is excellent. Nice views. Overall an excellent experience and we would definitely rent it again.

Great Family Spot

Our family had a blast staying at this well designed and well laid out Lakehouse. Kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed the game room area and projector screen downstairs. The kitchen and den area were great as well. It accommodated our crew perfectly. We hope to come back very soon.

Beautiful lakehouse

This place was perfect. The pictures don’t do it justice. From the decor to the bunk beds to the loft and the arcade games and ping pong table downstairs, this place is something really special. The house is updated and clean and all appliances, electronics, bathrooms etc worked great. Our group of 4 adults and 5 teenagers were very comfortable and had room to spare. The dock is also in great shape, spacious and has several lounge chairs. We spent a lot of time in the lake which was so lovely. The water is clean, calm and warm.

Lake location is great

This house is located on an area of the lake that is wide and has limited boat traffic. If you intend on boating near the house this is a highly desired spot for pulling tubes and scenic boating. The boat dock provides shade for chairs and plenty of water toys are available (kayaks, paddle board, swim mat, pull behind toys for boat). Rock Creek Marina is only minutes away if you're looking for a boat rental. The house is clean and appears to be only a few years old. The walk to the dock does not have a lot of stairs, so it’s easy to access. The bedrooms and loft have one bed each except for a bunk area off of the game room that has two bunk beds. The loft has steep stairs and overlooks the family room and kitchen. It's not good for preschoolers or senior adults. The house includes 2 full size refrigerators and a mini fridge. The game room has a ping pong table, game console, and overhead projector that uses Direct TV. No internet and marginal cell service. The host is very accommodating. If the sleeping arrangements fit your party size, I would highly recommend this rental.

Great house

We loved staying at this property. With 4 teenagers and an 11 year old we were able to spread out and let them take over the bottom floor. The game room and projection TV was perfect for them. The views of the lake were awesome. If you are an early riser the sunrises were beautiful. I would stay here again without question.

Easy steps to the water

The house was not large, but it was efficient. Everyone had a bed and bathroom. The house was perfect for a weekend trip away with family and friends.. Very few steps to the water, unlike most houses on Smith Lake. The kids enjoyed the media room and the ping pong table. The adults loved the daybed on the back porch.

Great house for kids

Very lovely property, lots of outdoor and indoor activities for the kids (which was helpful since no one had a signal for their electronics). Nearest grocery store is about 25 min away... stock up before arriving!

Great view and location on the lake!

Amazing views of the lake from the entire house! Great communication from the owner and added bonus of swim mats, kayak and paddle board. Weather was awesome for a last minute mid October lake trip and basically had the entire lake to ourselves. House had everything we needed. Kids and adults both loved the game room. Also spent a day at Bankhead National Park which was about a 45 minute drive from the house.

Great lake house

We had a wonderful stay with our family to celebrate a birthday. The kids loved the Lily pads and we went for a lovely waterfall hike at the not too far away Bankhead national forest. The house was clean and comfortable. Fun decor. Great water views. Todd was super responsive and helpful and even let us stay a little bit of extra time on our last day. We would definitely visit again.

Hooray for Smith Lake!

This was the perfect place for us to spend our last lake getaway for the season since school had started. Cannot say enough about the owner, Todd. He was very responsive and helpful when I made a scheduling error. House has private balconies, the water and dock are not cramped by other docks, and the home has many fun features that make it not just another lake home. We recommend it highly!

Worth coming back

No regrets renting this house. Beautiful property and plenty of room for five moms and our teenage girls. The ping pong table was a huge hit, and the floating lily pads were a wonderful surprise. We all enjoyed those! Todd was great to work with, and we would definitely rent this property again.
