Our five-bed, three-bath, 1,800-square-foot home is located along the Silver Thread Byway, providing optimal access to Creede, Lake City, and fishing access on the Rio Grande River.

Welcome to the good life in this spacious D-log home that will serve as the perfect mountain getaway. Embellished with aspen tongue and groove throughout the interior, this home embodies the classic cabin feel and offers panoramic views of the San Juan Mountains.

Our home boasts an open living/dining area, loft, playroom, and large deck to enjoy the impeccable mountain views. Our home is accessible to fishing on the Rio and only a short drive to the iconic Freeman's Ranch hamburgers. Head into town for all Creede has to offer, from shopping, dining, art galleries, and the Creede Repertory Theater.

This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max, and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max of $250 per stay).

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Book 7+ nights and a 10% discount is automatically applied (does not apply during Christmas/New Year's and the 4th of July holidays).

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, you will need to pay in full at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
