Gingerbread Retreat - appointed with your comfort and convenience in mind

Gingerbread Retreat is a respite for travelers caring for others and/or themselves. This Cozy 2 bedroom 1 bath house is outfitted with everything needed - just bring clothes, food, and yourself 😊 . Cozy living room has two lazy-boy recliners (afternoon nap??), sofa, TV and DVD player (yes internet is also provided). The cute kitchen has stainless steel farmhouse sink and prep island, plus all the basic equipment needed to create your culinary requirements. Pantry/laundry room has coffee station and Full size washer/dryer for guest convenience. Both bedrooms are curated for comfort - bedroom one also has a reading nook with comfy chair and antique ottoman, and bedroom two a writer's desk for journaling, coloring :), or, if necessary, work…The Enclosed Porch area houses a nice loveseat with side table and lamp on a plush rug- just another little nook for some quiet time - with a bonus pullout twin mattress,… the porch also houses an entry storage bench with mirror, hooks, and shelf for jackets/shoes/hat etc. This space can also be rearranged for small dog accommodations - if you happen to have a fur baby traveling along. Located on a corner lot in a quiet community, a children's park and church are located on the same street at the opposite end. This retreat is close to many area attractions and is less then 3 miles from Mercy Hospital Festus and Mercy Cancer Center, and just 20 minutes from St Louis Specialty Children's Care Center - South County. Also only a couple minutes from downtown Festus/Crystal City with walkable shops and eateries to enjoy. :)
