Please Note:
Blue Heron House offers direct canal access to Crystal River, which leads to the Gulf of America approximately 7 miles down the river.
Our private dock is being completed in phases between guest stays. At this time, a 15-foot floating dock is available for guest use.
Boats can be launched at the Fort Island Trail Boat Ramp, located approximately 2 miles from the home. From there, you can easily navigate to the property and secure your boat to the floating dock during your stay.
Please use caution during low tide. Water levels in the canal can drop significantly depending on the tide cycle, which may make navigation difficult for some vessels. We recommend checking local tide charts before planning your boating activities and proceeding slowly, especially when entering or leaving the canal.
