Listing was as advertised. It was not very clean and there was not any amenities as are usual in other places. The shower was not very clean.

MAJOR misrepresentation of the area. Please go back to the March 2025 review submitted for this property. It was almost identical to my brief (10 min) stay at thus East Dallas property. I was in town to visit family. I read the reviews and reviewed the pictures and I was impressed. I was not expecting much other than a clean place to stay as I would not be spending much time at the rental. The pictures of the inside were accurate. It smelled of a freshly cleaned unit. However, it seemed like someone could have been trying to cover up something. There were open food containers in the cabinet that should have been refrigerated and there was mildew under the sink. However, that was not what deterred my stay. Upon arriving to the property. The outside was nothing like the photos. When we pulled up there was a woman trying to enter the secured lot. We drove away and came back but when the gate opened she was back and followed us in. (Not secure) There was no space marked for the unit we were in so we exited and drove to the other parking lot. We drove up an alley and 2 gentleman were conversing. There was an exchange of some kind. At this point, I was feeling unsettled but went into lot to regroup. He also followed us in the gate. Just outside the unit there was a woman parked in a car. She was staring at us and accused us of filming her, which we were not doing. I find the positive reviews on this rental extremely hard to believe.

Never used any sort of service like this so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Everything was exactly like it was pictured. There weren't really any surprises here. It was a rather nice place. I'd recommend it for any couple or small group of friends. The floor is definitely a bit squeaky in some areas, but other than that I don't have any other complaints.

Communication with the host was fantastic. Unfortunately, I never stepped foot into the unit. As a young female staying alone, I witnessed several things in the parking lot and on the street that made me feel very uneasy. I was in town for work meetings so I would be leaving early evening and returning relatively late. My gut was telling me I shouldn’t stay. I noticed 2 young gentlemen trying to get into the pedestrian gate and could tell they too were visiting and weren’t full time residents. I asked about how their stay had been and they said police were knocking on their door at 4am about a break in. I asked if they thought I would be safe staying alone and they recommended I find other accommodations if possible. Nothings against the host or the unit itself, but I lost out on money because I was unaware of the area itself, so I want to save anyone else from feeling how uneasy and unsafe I felt.

Convenient clean apartment near downtown

Nicely remodeled older apartment, clean and comfortable with good air conditioning. The bathroom and shower are nice. The parking lot has bright street lights which keep the bedroom pretty light at night. The walls between the apartments are not sound proof. The neighborhood is in transition from run down to being cleaned up, so I’d say it’s about half sketch. The fenced parking lot provides a degree of confidence that your vehicle won’t be vandalized. It was a nice option for my trip, close to downtown and lower Greenville.
