Happy holidays

Stayed with family to celebrate Thanksgiving and attend the Cowboys football game. Close to everything. The 4th bedroom isn’t really a bedroom. More like a room with a bed….no windows, closet or dresser with barn doors to the family room. Would have appreciated more seating and space in the family room for our party of 12. Kitchen great and pretty much had everything we needed. Extra folding chairs available for all of us to enjoy our dinner together. Would have appreciated knowing the no shoes allowed rule so we could be prepared. Plenty of towels, bathroom and kitchen essentials provided including plates, glasses, etc. nice basket of additional goodies where a nice touch in case you forget anything. Thanks!

Beautiful home away from home.

This property did not disappoint at all. The property was exactly as advertised but what was not mentioned to my surprise was how it is literally a home away from home. The property was so cozy, beds comfortable and did I mention fully stocked. There were essentials stocked to include spices, dishes, tea, coffee, creamer, tons of different games,etc… if you forgot mouthwash, no worries there is some in the bathroom, forgot lotion no worries there is some in the washroom. I could go on and on but then I would be writing a novel. Last, the process to get in was very easy and Victoria was outstanding. I would stay here whenever I visit Dallas.

Wonderful Birthday Trip

We celebrated a relative's birthday in Dallas. With family and friends, we immensly enjoyed the house. It was very spacious for four adults, and allowed us to relax and have fun! It was wonderful to enjoy Dallas without staying in Dallas. Great house!

Terrific for a large gathering

We had a wonderful 3 night family stay here which included 3 couples and 5 children staying overnight plus a 4th couple and 3 more children during the day. Communication with the host Victoria was terrific, before, during and after our stay. There was a minor problem upon our arrival that was resolved quickly. There are comfortable beds for 12, but only one couch so don’t try for more than that. The kitchen was amply equipped, and we were able to easily cook all meals for our large group. The large dining table had chairs for 8, plus 3 stools at the kitchen island and we added a couple of house benches at the table to accommodate our crew. The foosball table downstairs was in use all day, every day. A big hit for our teenagers and adults. The small living room only had one couch, lots of pillows but no chairs. (no room for more). Our small children piled in here to watch TV. The outdoor patio/gazebo was a hit for our adults. We found folding chairs in the garage to supplement the patio chairs so our 4 couples and a few kids had seating. Because of the nature of our stay we didn’t leave the house much, but nevertheless we found it spacious and accommodating for our daytime crew of 16, and overnight group of 11.

We had a group of ladies who were visiting for a conference. Every detail was thought of and all the girls kept saying it was like a Pinterest board come to life. Beds were comfortable and home was beautiful. We definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay

Thoughtful amenities! Love that there were dishes for children and a basket of items in case you had forgotten something. The lake is within walking distance, it is close to the belt to get around the city quickly and there is a main road close that has many restaurants and shopping. It has an awesome grilling area and gazebo! The only thing I would have wished for was a connecting door from the house to the backyard. You have to go out to the driveway and into the side gate. It is not very convenient when grilling and needing to access the kitchen frequently and keep up with smaller children back and forth. The games were awesome! Entertaining for both the kids and adults. Overall we had a great stay!
