SEAS THE DAY is just minutes away from so many amazing amenities in Dana Point and San Clemente. This beautifully remodeled 2-bedroom condominium style vacation rental home offers 2 full bathrooms, wrap around balcony, and private washer and dryer.

SEAS THE DAY is the perfect retreat for a small vacationing family, two couples, or for an extended work / play adventure or temporary housing between homes. It’s seated in center of the idyllically quiet, gated community of Monarch Hills within the luxurious larger community of Ritz Point. Walk to the beach, Dana Point Harbor, Dana Point Headlands, The Ocean Institute, shops, and restaurants! SEAS THE DAY is located on a hill above all of these amazing local attractions so it is best to have a vehicle.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS: Sleeps 6 comfortably. Two in a king-size bed in the primary bedroom with en-suite and 2 in a second king-size bed in the secondary bedroom. It’s like having 2 primary bedrooms! the The sofa converts into a queen size bed.

KITCHEN & DINING: Fully outfitted kitchen! Tons of light! Cute bistro table with 2 chairs, new appliances, solid surface countertops, and bright white refinished cabinets make for easy meal preparation. The separate dining room adjacent to the kitchen seats 6 comfortably and is perfect for entertaining or hosting a game night with your friends and family during your stay.

FAMILY ROOM: This spacious gathering room offers a very comfortable, oversized sofa with chaise lounge and a comfy side chair. A work desk has been provided in case there’s any ‘pressing business’ that requires your attention. A large flat screen TV is also provided above the gas fireplace to complete the room.

OUTDOORS: Plenty of seating on the wrap around balcony! With access from the family room, kitchen, and primary bedroom it’s a great space for entertaining or just enjoying a glass of wine at sunset. An electric BBQ has been provided. There is a full-size washer and dryer in a separate closet off the balcony near the primary bedroom. This special vacation hideaway offers a single covered parking stall for 1 car. There are also beach chairs and umbrellas provided for your use.

MANAGEMENT: Very clean and professionally managed. Vacation Concierge is available 24/7 for any questions, issues or concerns that come up during your stay.

SUITABILITY: Non-Smoking home. Must have an adult(s) 21 or older staying at the house during the term of the stay.

LOCATION: Dana Point is a city located in southern Orange County, California. It has one of the few harbors along the Orange County coast, and with ready access via State Route 1 (the famous Pacific Coast Highway or PCH). Dana Point and surrounding communities of Laguna Beach and San Clemente are popular local destinations for surfing.

ATTRACTIONS: SEAS THE DAY is just up the road from the O.C. Dana Point Harbor and downtown Dana Point. Located towards the northern section of Dana Point referred to as ‘Monarch Beach’, it is just a short 15 minute drive into the beautiful and 'artsy' seaside town of Laguna Beach. It’s also convenient and within a short 15-minute drive (or a 30 minute bike ride for the more adventurous types) from the historic San Juan Capistrano where the Mission San Juan Capistrano and the quaint Los Rios District is surrounded with charming antique shops, restaurants, and art galleries. There’s even a petting zoo for the smaller members of your family!

The city was named after the headland of Dana Point, which was in turn named after Richard Henry Dana, Jr., author of ‘Two Years Before the Mast’, which included a description of the area. Dana described the locale, including neighboring San Juan Capistrano, as "the only romantic spot on the coast". Although Dana described the anchorage as poor, it is now a developed harbor and contains a replica of his ship, the Pilgrim. The Pilgrim is used as a classroom by the Ocean Institute, which is located at the harbor.

Came to get away from the heat in the inland empire. Air conditioning worked well. The condo is in need of some refreshing. Kitchen cabinets are old The fan in main bathroom ran whenever light was on, and it is dirty. Wet, moldy area outside of front door should be fixed. Quiet area and exterior is nicely maintained.

My husband and I stayed at the condo for 1 month to get away from the Nevada heat. Location was excellent. Condo was Right down the street from salt creek beach and Next door to the Waldorf and down the street from the Ritz. Host was very responsive. The unit was perfect for the 2 of us. It needs a complete update. However the beds were super comfortable. Both bedrooms had king beds. Very beautiful community. And our pup loved the area and weather

The condo was delightfully charming! It was perfect for my month stay! It was well furnished and comfortable. I felt very safe and enjoyed my walks to the beach. My family lived close by, so had the opportunity to see them on many occasions.There were a few places that needed some deep cleaning, but did not hinder my stay.The remodel of the unit above was very loud and annoying at times.All in all, I was very happy with my stay!

Family Getaway

This trip was to meet our new granddaughter. The condo became the perfect family gathering place We shared the place with our daughter and her husband. There was plenty of room for all of us. Could not have been more perfect. We will be asking for the same place next year. Loved it.

Dana Point condo

The apartment was well-equipped with all kitchen necessities and bedrooms, dining room, living room were all large and had plenty of sheets, blankets. The only problem we had was that since it was a ground floor, there was no sun light on the outside area (terrace). It was well located in the community, very close to the clubhouse and pool.All in all, a comfortable stay.

Comfortable and a Great Location

My parents and I stayed in the condo over Christmas to visit family for the holidays and the property was perfect for us. The property was very comfortable, spacious for a two bed/two bath condo, and pretty well stocked with amenities and kitchen supplies (though, of course, kitchen supplies were not equivalent to a home kitchen). As someone who loves a medium-soft bed, the beds were comfortable, but would not fit someone who wants a firm mattress. For those particularly tall, like I am, the primary bathroom has a very high shower head that was really wonderful!There is ample open guest parking and one assigned parking space. The property is behind a guarded gate, but it was very easy to check in when first arriving and get in and out throughout the stay.I did not have any issues so did not communicate with the host during the stay, but they were very responsive to my initial inquiry email and the email and information provided ahead of check in was thorough and clear. I would definitely stay again on another trip to Dana Point!

Great condo!

We enjoyed our stay at Seas the Day! We loved that the condo has two king beds for the two couples we had and the pull out couch was perfect for our two kids. It is located conveniently across from the pool, hot tub and club house and the neighborhood is very close to the beach and Dana point.
