GaindaPhool Homestay, Chhichhli - Jashpur

Nestled in Bastar's lush landscapes, this homestay is located in the scenic tribal village of Patelpara, Ganjenar, Dantewada. Surrounded by red-earth lanes, green fields, tranquil ponds, and traditional mud homes, it offers an authentic glimpse into local life. It is a typical village home with a centre courtyard. There are two comfortable guest rooms and a shared common bathroom outside the house. Each room is furnished with a comfortable beds and can accommodate up to two guests, with space for one additional guest on an extra mattress. There is a organic kitchen garden in the homestay premises where the host family grows vegetables like karela, Kundru, Lauki, kaddu, bhindi, brinjal, corn and many more, so you get fresh organic vegetables directly from the farm to your plate.

It is also dotted with fruit trees. You can enjoy fresh mangos, pineapple, Coconut, Black berry, Guava, Seeta fal, Papaya, Lichi, Kosum, Chind (local variety of Khajur) and Banana as per the season you are visiting the homestay. There is a Salfi palm tree as well; locals extract naturally fermented, mildly alcoholic sap from this tree which is popularly known as 'Bastar Beer'. If you are lucky you might get to taste that as well.

Anamika will host you here with her welcoming family. Anamika has completed one-month guide training program and is currently working as an MTS staff member at the Dantewada Tourism Office. She believes in treating every guest like a family member and making them feel comfortable, safe, and welcome throughout their stay. Her values of respect, warmth, and care that she has learned at home inspire the way she interacts with her guests.
