Great long weekend

Check in was quick and easy. Everything was ready when we got there. The upstairs toilet sounds like it is going to take off but it worked. We loved sitting on the deck and seen a few deerbut no bear. May need deck re placed soon as well as picnic table. Grandsons wanted things to do beside TV but enjoyed playing cards in the evening. None of the items I mentioned kept us from having a great time. Would stay there again

Pictures of Listing look better

Our first rental with Vrbo. On the negative sideā€¦ The pictures were professional and make the property look better than reality. The deck and steps are worn, warped and in need of paint. The picnic table has holes and is growing moss. The steps up to the main level are narrow and the hand railing doesnā€™t go all the way up making it more challenging for seniors. The BBQ grill grill is badly rusted. There were only two partial rolls of TP for our eleven people, and we couldnā€™t find any laundry soap to do the ā€œrequiredā€ first batch of towels when we checked out. The driveway is challenging, sharp turn in and steep. On the Positive side! The kitchen appliances worked well, plenty of hot water, the beds were adequate, The TV worked well and easily hooked up to IPads wirelessly, and the wi-Fi worked well. There were plenty of towels, the Hot-tub was enjoyable and clean and all the windows and fans worked well. Overall, my family had an enjoyable time.

We stayed for my daughter 16th birthday she had a blast. We enjoyed the house it was beautiful and everything was clean. The hot tub was perfect and clean. We really enjoyed our trip.

Property was dirty and needs updating.

ā€¢ We were prepared for there to be no A/C but even with the fans the cabin was stuffy and the lack of windows that could be opened to create some air flow was an issue and what few windows could be opened had torn screens, meaning that they could not be opened without having insects come into the cabin. The cabin was much warmer and much more humid than the outside, even with the available doors and windows open. ā€¢ There was a clump of hair in the bath plug when we first went to use the shower on the main floor. ā€¢ There was mildew in the shower of the bathroom on the main floor. ā€¢ The kitchen / main floor trash can was smelly and dirty with a greasy residue under the lid and removable top portion. The empty wooden holder was dirty and smelled. ā€¢ The dishwasher was dirty and clogged. It did not fully drain correctly and did not clean the dishes correctly. We had to hand-wash dishes before we used them ā€¢ There were cobwebs everywhere in the main floor sitting room ā€“ on the skis, above the windows, for example - and spiderwebs inside the windows of the bedrooms on the main floor. There was a dirty, old cigarette butt just inside the door leading to the deck. ā€¢ The deck furniture was old, tired and broken. One Adirondack chair had broken slats. The bench table had a broken slat and rotten wood. ā€¢ There was insufficient lighting in the cabin. The few lamps that were in the bedrooms were dirty and dusty and provided insufficient light for the rooms. The lights had cobwebs on them ā€¢ The fans were dirty. Not only were the fan blades covered in grime, they had cobwebs on them and the screens in front of the blades were covered in dust. ā€¢ The description of the property said ā€˜lake access with canoeā€™ ā€“ where was the canoe? The only canoes we saw by the lake were locked up and require rental. ā€¢ The grill on the deck was very dirty ā€“ it was full of damp ash that had not been emptied in some time. ā€¢ The mattresses in all of the rooms were broken. Not just old, not just lumpy, but clearly sagging and creaking with uneven bases. The bedroom on the main floor furthest away from the bathroom had a bedframe that was broken with the footboard and headboard collapsing in to the center of the bed. We loved the area and the beautiful outdoor views around the community and the Davis area and would have probably put up with the less than satisfactory accommodation if we had been able to sleep comfortably on any one of the beds.

Worked for what we needed but would prefer cleaner and more comfortable furnishings and some updat

Could use some updates. Surface clean but not deep clean. Kitchen sink too small. Commodes run a lot and have cheap, flimsy seats, one of which was broken. Hot tub was not clean and had a piece of broken glass in bottom. Could update furniture to newer and more comfortable. Foosball table had missing men which was too bad because we love to play. Kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the large deck.

Family Fun

It was a great weekend getaway with my children, nieces and nephews. The house was great, with plenty of room. The only draw back was that the hot tub was not working the weekend we were there. It was a disappointment to all, especially the children. They were more excited about the hot tub than they were snow tubing or sledding. Otherwise great house, great fun. Will definitely like to come back. Thank you

Clean, great location and views

The house was great! We really appreciated that the beds were all made when we arrived and that there was plenty of flatware/plates/etc. Great deck, though we couldn't get the hot tub to heat up. Would definitely stay there again.

The house has everything you need! From fireplace and hot tub to unlimited supply of towels and space - It was definitely a ā€œgreyt escapeā€. Moreover, itā€™s only a five min drive to timberline, which was very convenient!

Spacious cabin

Cabin has plenty of room. Appliances and hot tub were in good working order. Cabin was clean. The week we stayed was cooler than normal. Plenty of hiking trails and impressive sites as well of use of private lake for paddle boats.

The cabin was super nice and we had an amazing time. The only downfall would be the lower level smelled strongly of dog. We didn't have pets with us and we know that the cabin was pet friendly, but the smell was a little overwhelming. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!!
