This is a SHARED residence, which is not disclosed in the listing. Please read this full review to understand our experience.Upon arrival, the property was clean and we initially had no concerns. We received a note advising us not to park in front of the garage. However, after my husband and I left briefly to pick up groceries, we returned to find that strangers were staying in the basement of the home—accessing it through the garage we had been told not to park in front of. This was never communicated prior to booking. Had we known the space was shared, we would not have chosen this rental—especially considering we had left our teenagers there alone for half an hour.While the home itself was generally clean and tidy, there were several large holes in the drywall throughout the house, which impacted the overall condition and feel of the space.Additionally, at one point, potential buyers came onto the property to view a camper/pod in the backyard at the direction of the owner. Again, this may not have been an issue with proper communication, but we were not notified in advance.For the price, the value was acceptable. However, the lack of transparency and communication—particularly regarding the shared nature of the property—raises serious safety concerns, especially from a parent’s perspective.
