Early/late checkout may be available at an extra fee (approval required).

OPTIONAL UPGRADES

SPA & POOL RULES
- Solar pool heating included; weather dependent
- Spa heating included; 2-hour timer, can be turned on anytime.
- Pool gas heating requires 24 hours to reach temperature; do not touch pool equipment - any damage is at the guest’s expense.
- No glass, no food, no diving, no running around the pool area.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

LONG-STAY EXTRAS (OVER 30 DAYS)
We collect a security deposit for gas pool heating and additional utilities, which is standard for long stays. Mandatory 14-day cleaning, with optional weekly cleaning, towel, and sheet changes available upon request. A separate rental agreement needs to be completed within 24 h of booking.

MAINTENANCE
Pool maintenance occurs on Tuesday and Friday, and pond maintenance is done on Friday.

REQUIRED DISCLOSURES / HOUSE & COMPLIANCE NOTES (PLEASE READ)

Local Compliance
This property has special local compliance requirements, including a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold (not a traditional deposit, just a pending transaction). All this needs to be completed within 24 hours of booking to keep the reservation.

Security System / Cameras & Noise Monitor
There are multiple security cameras on the property: the front door, above the garage, pointing out to the koi pond, the pond, the pool equipment, and above the Tesla wall charger. All of them are recording 24/7 for security purposes. There is one noise monitor (register decibel noise only) installed in the dining area, required by the City of Desert Hot Springs. Motion sensors, fire and carbon alarms, and a security system are present at the property.

Wellness Add-On (Optional)
We partner with trusted local massage therapists. Private massage sessions can be arranged by the pool/spa or inside the home (based on availability). Guests pay the massage therapist directly. Massage services are provided by an independent third party; pricing, availability, and service details are handled directly with the provider. Contact us for a coupon to save.

Music
Allowed outdoors until 10:00 PM. Small portable speakers only; no large speakers, DJ equipment, or karaoke machines outdoors.

No Smoking
Strictly inside the house. $1,000 fee for violations.

Maintenance Access
By booking, you acknowledge and give permission for the pool and/or hot tub to be serviced twice a week and for the pond maintenance to access the backyard once a week for maintenance. These services may occur during your stay.

Smoking
To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, smoking is not permitted indoors. A $ 1,000 fee will apply to any smoking violations.

Decorations
Strictly no decorations, no tapes, no pins, on walls - A $ 1,000 fee will apply to violations.

Mailbox
Please note that we don't have access to the mailbox.

Assumption of Risk
By accepting this rental through Vrbo, you agree to be responsible for supervising and ensuring the safe use of the pool and spa for your guests. You are releasing the owner from any liability of claims and agree to hold the owner harmless from any damages (personal injury or otherwise) to you, your guests, or any third party.

You recognize and understand that a Swimming Pool and Spa involve certain risks. Those risks include, but are not limited to, the risk of death and injury from equipment malfunctions in the pool and from tripping or falling over obstacles in and around the pool area.
