I really wanted to love this house. But, unfortunately, it fell a bit short on my expectations. When I first arrived, my code to get in didnât work. I messaged the host and called the number a couple of times. She got back to me about 15 minutes later and told me that my code would work now. (It did)Next, I was a little uneasy about the fact that all but one of the bedrooms were locked. I travel alone, so I like to assure myself that Iâm the only one in them home. (I understand the reasoning they had and realize this is just my own paranoia, but it was something I hadnât experienced before.)Then I noticed ants in the upstairs bathroom and bedroom. I told the host and she sent someone to spray while I was out. I later found many more ants all over the kitchen. (Iâve noticed that other reviews stated the same thing.)I also noticed that the lights all throughout the home were flickering a lot. I mentioned this to the host and was told they didnât see anything while they were there spraying for ants. Then I attempted to use the beautiful tub in the downstairs bathroom. This was my biggest disappointment. It didnât hold water in and ran out of hot water before I could even fill it 1/2 way. Lastly, I was asked by the host to move my car so a delivery could be left in the driveway between 7am - 11am. No big deal, but I wasnât told this until 6am that day. A little more heads up would have been nice. The house was really cute, bed was comfortable, but I wouldnât stay again.
