Escape to the peace and quiet of the countryside in this beautifully restored country house, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Situated on the outskirts of the village of Douzillac with chateau of Mauriac and the river l'isle.

The house has airconditioning for the warmer periods and 2 woodstoves (kitchen/dining area and living room) for the colder days. A build up wooden swimming pool is available from beginning of May till end of september.

This spacious home features rustic charm with modern comforts. The open-plan living area boasts exposed wooden beams, a wood stove and large windows that fill the space with natural light. The fully equipped kitchen/dining room makes cooking a pleasure, while the outdoor terrace invites you to enjoy morning coffee with country side sunrise views.

A seperate room has been set up to do some excercises and is equiped with a running treadmill.

3 cozy bedrooms

1 downstairs bedroom with double bed (140 cm)

3 upstairs bedrooms: 2 with a double bed (140 cm et 160 cm) and one with 2 simple beds (put together, can be separated on demand, 2 times 90cm) and child bed (on floor matress, 90 cm). Ample storage space.



2 modern bathrooms (one downstairs bathroom with walk-in shower and one upstairs bathroom with walk in shower and bath)

Private parking for at least 4 cars and direct access to scenic walking trails.
