Willoughby Island on Drummond Island

Book your own private island accessible by car! The cabin sleeps up to 6 people, has a sandy beach and bay, and includes 3 kayaks and a canoe.

Willoughby Island is accessed by a unique 1960s gravel causeway built across natural shoreline rock lined with spruce, birch and tamarack. The drive in feels like discovering a hidden forest trail that opens up to your own private island escape.

Bring your own boat or jet skis, and launch them at the Drummond Island Township Park just down the road, or tie them up off the East side of the island. Or, contact Yacht Haven Marina for slip rental info.

Bring your own bike or hiking shoes, and set out on an adventure right from the house. Or visit one of several parks nearby, offering nature hiking and wildlife viewing along paths winding through beautiful woodlands and along rocky beaches.

Groceries, hardware, firewood, restaurants, bars, gas station and gifts are 2.5 miles away.

NOTE: There is limited space to park and turn vehicles and trailers around on Willoughby Island. Additional vehicles and/or trailers can be parked at Northern Properties with permission. The Drummond Island Tourism Association at the four corners also allows overnight parking.

If you are coming to Drummond Island to ride the trails, you will need to trailer your vehicles to the trailhead from this home. Side x Side’s and ATV’s are not permitted on M134/Channel Road.
