Pet Friendly Elkpoint Townhome - Ski in/Ski Out - Best Location - Arcade Game

Our 2,600 square foot, 5 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom end unit townhome (Unit 10) is one of the few true ski in/ski out properties at Purgatory Resort built right on the slopes and just a short walk/ski to the main plaza.

The gourmet kitchen has granite counter tops and includes a bar with seating and opens to the main living space and dining area, giving you plenty of space to relax with family and friends. The master bedroom has a gas fireplace while the bathroom has a jacuzzi tub. The townhome has a washer/dryer, high speed WIFI and an attached 1 car garage that has plenty of storage room for gear with an additional parking space in front of the garage. Additional vehicles can be parked in the upper ski lot for free. All bedrooms except the 5th bedroom have attached bathrooms.

The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. For an additional (and optional) 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. When booking, just advise if you would like us to add the additional 4% resort fee.

This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Best ski vacation we’ve ever had

This place was great! The location was fantastic. The house was very comfortable and it really gave our family a great experience in the mountains. Those who wanted to ski could come and go and those Who preferred to ski less or not at all also had a great time. We plan on doing it again again next year

Purgatory Ski Trip

The location was perfect for our ski trip. There was an abundance of space for our party of 6. My kids loved sledding down the slopes right off the porch after the lifts closed. This unit is a very short walk to Purgatory Village which was very convenient. There were little care kits in each bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion and linen spray. There was a kitchen kit with a sponge, small thing of dish soap, hand soap and a couple of dishwasher pods. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Cons: parking
One thing to note if you go during the winter, there was only barely parking for 2 vehicles. One inside the garage and one in the driveway. This unit had leaky gutters and therefore coming out the front door and down the driveway was dangerously icy! We had a couple of falls. Also, there was a ginormous icicle hanging from the roof that actually fell while we were out skiing and dented our brand new truck. There needs to be a little more attention to the outside maintenance for safety reasons. The upstairs bathroom tub did not drain well. There were no dish towels provided so make sure to bring plenty of paper towels or take some from the bathrooms. One other annoying thing was that there were no extra trash bags for the kitchen trash can. I reached out to the host and they said they would bring some but they never did. None of these things would prevent me from coming back but just some things to note. The host was always quick to respond if we had questions.

Best ski in ski out in Purgatory

We have stayed in 8 places in Purgatory over the last few years. By far, this is the best! Not only is location prime but mattresses are good, kitchen supplies are new (not owners old stuff like so many others), pantry has room for food, coffee station, comfortable couches and clean, clean, clean!!! Fun for everyone!

What a great trip! True Ski-in/Ski-out but also fun for those not skiing. So close that you are able to say hi to family and friends while riding up the lift. The unit was stocked full of everything we needed. Sledding after the the hill was closed for the day was great for the kiddos as well! Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Annual family ski trip

Our families have been coming to Purgatory for over five years for our annual ski trip. We have stayed in many of the elk point properties, great location. Cori’s home has become our favorite. Ease of access to the slopes along with a great view for the non-skiers. Attention to detail of the property makes the difference, Cori has created a very welcoming environment for people of all ages. I’m looking forward to staying here again.

Of course, 18” of snow during our stay was a huge hit, but the condo was great! Pantry was well stocked. Humidifiers made a HUGE difference. We all commented on how well stocked and put together the space was. Thanks Cori for sharing your space with us!

We had such a great time. Everything about the property was perfect. There were so many thoughtful details our host provided, but the best was the coffee bar!!! The process of booking, checking in and leaving was very simple and Cori did everything she could to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend this place!
