Welcome to The Big Hitter Lodge at Tamarron. This spacious condo is perfect for your next Durango vacation, conveniently located between downtown Durango and Purgatory/Durango Mountain Ski Resort. You will find the large open kitchen and dining area as you enter the condo. The dining table seats 8 and there is bar seating at the counter. The large living room has lots of windows to let in the light, a beautiful custom fireplace, and a nice deck for taking in some fresh mountain air. On the main floor you will find the large master suite with a king-size bed and private bath with a large standing shower. There is a desk and WiFi in case you need to bring the office with you. The second bedroom features 1 twin/twin bunk and 1 twin over queen bunk. Upstairs on the second floor you will find the third bedroom complete with 2 queen beds and a private bath with tub/shower. This condominium is well-appointed with all the comforts of home, suitable for a short-term vacation or an extended stay. There are TVs in all bedrooms as well as the living room.
As a guest of Tamarron, you can enjoy an array of amenities without ever having to leave the grounds, including access to The Glacier Club*. Play a round of golf** on the spectacular Valley Course, a full 18 holes nestled in the trees and full of stunning mountain views. This challenging course will amaze you with its changing elevations and all-around beautiful scenery. A full-service golf shop is available for reservations, lessons, and gear. Guests also have access to tennis courts and a pool and fitness area***. Additionally, Tamarron features three full-service restaurants within walking distance from the condo: Mine Shaft Bar & Grill, Prospector Restaurant, and Cliffside Bar & Grille.
Located in the four corners area of southwestern Colorado, at the foot of the San Juan Mountains, Tamarron is just 10 minutes South of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of the historic city of Durango. Durango is home to the Durango-La Plata Airport, a full-service regional airport with more than a dozen daily flights to Denver International Airport, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, plus a seasonal flight to Los Angeles International Airport, and connecting flights to more than 300 cities in the United States. Durango is also easily accessible by car. Several major U.S. and state highways approach the city from every direction and make up the scenic San Juan Skyway surrounding Durango. Within 10 minutes you can enjoy the Rapp Corral, Purgatory Resort, the Rockwood Station for the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, Haviland Lake, Honeyville, Durango Hot Springs, Dalton Ranch Golf Course, and numerous hiking & biking trails. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
