Communication should be zero stars. Tried to reach host the day before and all day long on the day of arrival by phone, text, VRBO message, no response. I had 3 phone numbers, tried them all. Mailboxes full on a couple of them, not a good sign! No code, no check in info. Hoping for the best, I arrived at the property at check-in time, still nothing. We ended up having to find another, much more expensive place to stay. Host finally reached out 45 minutes after check-in time after I assume she received word VRBO was refunding our money? I understand things come up, but two days of non-communication was stress my vacation didn’t deserve. The only bad VRBO experience I’ve ever had. (I rated it average inside, all I got to do was look in the windows.)
