Not only is New Haven a pizza lover’s paradise, but you’ll have a variety of activities to choose from in town, from catching a theater production to taking a boat tour. Back at the 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom vacation rental, enjoy serene sunsets from the 2nd-floor balcony overlooking the Long Island Sound before heading out to the yard to roast marshmallows by the fire pit.

New Haven Getaway

This is a wonderful property in New Haven! The owners have completed an incredible renovation, and they have thought of everything for their guests. You can relax in the front room full of natural light with a view of Long Island Sound, in the comfortable living room, on the second-floor deck overlooking the water, or on the back patio that is complete with a grill and fire pit. If you cannot relax here, you can't relax anywhere! The house feels like home, and it's a perfect place to unwind and relax. I grew up in central Connecticut, and the charm and thoughtful layout of this home really reminded me of growing up in New England. When we return to the area, we will rent this property again; it is simply perfect.

Cozy house right across from the water

We had a nice time at the house. The hosts thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable, with plenty of dishes and supplies and nice touches like Nespresso pods, wireless chargers, and Roku TVs all over the house.We had a problem with the water when we arrived but the hosts and manager were very responsive and we got it figured out very quickly. Would definitely recommend this house.

Great house

An esthetic mixture of new and old, this house was comfortable and clean with a spectacular view. I especially enjoyed sitting in the front sunroom looking out at the gorgeous sunsets. The owners leave nothing for want and you can tell they really care about their guests’ comfort.

Beautiful home

We were in the area for a weekend getaway. This home is wonderful. It has all of its original charm while beautifully remodeled for today’s users creating a comfortable retreat. The speakers, games, coffee nook and outdoor area were all enjoyed. The views from the porch and front room were our so relaxing. Beautiful Home

Spent the week with my parents. Home was immaculate and well appointed. The views from the 2nd floor deck and from the sun room were amazing. We wanted for nothing during our stay. The dog loved the backyard, and having the gate to close the driveway made it easy to let her out off leash. The cat loved the sun room window ledge. We were all very comfortable.

The property is clean and well maintained. The pictures are accurate as is the description. It was a self contained oasis for the family and enjoyed by all. We had the most amazing stay. The home was meticulously clean and exceeded our expectations!!! Perfect Weekend Getaway

This was a perfect house for our weekend getaway. The sunroom overlooking the water was by far our favorite room. Being able to disconnect while enjoying a beautiful view was exactly what we needed. Lynda is a great host and was gracious enough to allow us a slightly later check out to accommodate our travel plans home. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing!!

We were traveling through Connecticut over July 4th and wanted a nice place to bring my sister in law up from the city and get some family time. This house was beyond perfect!! First of all, you can't beat the views this house offers! Indoor and outdoor views of the water with sailboats all around, it was gorgeous! We sat indoors and played games during the day and had wine on the deck in the evenings. There were fireworks all around, so a lot to enjoy without all the crowds. The house has absolutely everything you need. Beautiful kitchen with all of the things you could ever want to cook or entertain. Beautiful dining room to eat meals in and even a grill in the backyard that we used to cook steaks. Beds were super comfortable and one even has incredible water views. Every detail was thought through! The decor was personal and tasteful, and you felt at home, but clearly like it had been designed by an expert. Lastly, and I think the most important, anytime I needed anything there was somebody answering the phone on the other side, who was able to help us. The ice tray in the freezer was a little frozen, so they brought over a bag of ice and left in the freezer for us. Now that is what I call five star attention! My family just kept saying how beautiful the house was, and how they couldn't believe I found it. We strolled along the sidewalk around the sound, which is right across the street and had a very lovely's stay. Awesome!!

We loved this beautiful house across the street from the ocean which offered lovely sunset views from the upper deck. The house was immaculate and had plenty of space for the two of us. It seems it could easily accommodate 6 people. The property manager and the owner were very responsive to our questions.

A nice little seaside retreat!

We rented this property for a family of four to celebrate our son’s college graduation. The location was nice to watch the water but it’s on a very busy road with lots of traffic. We had a few issues with the house and most were fixed in a timely manner. House was clean and well appointed.
