Do not rent this property. We rented it for Labor Day weekend and it was immediately clear upon arrival that the house had not been cleaned. There were dead bugs and spider webs on the bathroom countertops, dirty toilets with dried fecal matter in the toilets, dead bugs on the ground in the bathrooms, soap scum in the bathrooms, toothpaste in the bathroom sink, hair in the sinks. One of the toilets was full of brown water. Donât know if that was feces or what. There were multiple stains on the carpet in one of the bedrooms that appeared to be animal feces. And the master bedroom downstairs had dried up animal fecal matter crusty on the wood floor. There was a brown stain on one of the comforters that I washed and the stain came out. There was an empty potato chip bag in one of the bedside drawers that was not our chip bag and press on nails in the floor of another bedroom. I messaged the owner immediately who told me that it had been cleaned two days prior. I told her that was impossible and requested someone to come clean because I felt uncomfortable staying there at that point. She told me that it would be difficult to get a cleaner due to the holiday weekend. I tried to find another property to move to but was unable due to the holiday weekend being rented out . I requested a discount because I basically had to clean the bathrooms and toilets that were disgusting . She only credited me my cleaning fee for my stay. The only positive is the lake and the outside area.
