This was the worst place I have ever rented from VRBO. it was so dirty we left within an hour after looking around. Calling the owner about a hole in the door and missing cabinet door in the kitchen. The sheets and comforters were gross and stained with something. There were only about 5 towels for a family of 9, one soiled wash cloth hanging inside the shower and no hand Towels. We were told we could go buy sheets and towels if we would like. Or wash the ones there, but Bob the host stated they were clean. One toilet seat was broken, there was hair in the shower and sink. There was jelly smeared on the counter and the dish washer smelled terrible!!! On most of the bedroom walls up stairs there were stains. The return air vent located above your head on the staircase was hanging down in one corner and the filter was dirty. The back yard had a small play house which was falling apart and could cause an injury. The trash barrels on the side of the house were full. There was another post just like this from July 2025 by another guest. Not a good place to stay do not recommend it.

My experience with both the HOST and VRBO’s handling of this situation has been unacceptable. Despite multiple calls, messages, and documentation providedLet me be clear: this property was unsafe, unsanitary, and managed by a completely unprofessional host who should not be listed on your platform.Timeline and Issues: ‱ I contacted the host multiple times prior to arrival and again on the day of check-in—no response. ‱ I was forced to call the host directly upon arrival to obtain check-in information. He answered only then, seemed unaware of our booking, and provided the code within five minutes. ‱ Upon entering the home, the cleaner was still working (not an issue in itself), but she informed us that the dryer was broken, which the host never disclosed. ‱ There were only six body towels available, and the rest were in the laundry—unclear if they were even clean. ‱ The home smelled strongly of smoke, which the host blamed on previous guests. We have a guest with COPD so this was unacceptable ‱ The recliner was broken and several areas were poorly maintained.The next day, when other guests from our group arrived, we discovered sheets stained with blood and other unknown substances. This was the last straw.We immediately contacted VRBO, who instructed us to call the host. The host became loud, rude, and hung up on me when I requested a cancellation. We asked for a partial refund for the remaining days and still haven’t heard back

Not what we expected

The house is in a great neighborhood in Edmond and close to many amenities. It was very spacious and accommodated our family of 7. Unfortunately the yard hadn’t been mowed when we got there and without notice someone showed up at 8:30 pm to mow the yard. The outside trash was overflowing from previous guest and looked like it had been there for months. The interior was not clean at all. There was several months of dust build up on the return vents. There are cracks in the walls and the ceiling. The walls also had many stains. It looked like someone had taken oily food and thrown it at the walls. The comfort of the house was good otherwise. If the host could clean the house and maybe repair the fence this would be an amazing rental.

Nice quiet neighborhood, with playground across the street. Plenty of room for all of us and a good backyard for our dog. Host was immediately responsive to inquiries.

This was a very nice neighborhood that you felt safe in. The house is modern and had plenty of room. The kitchen was very accommodating for feeding our seven guests. This was overall a great place great neighborhood.

Thanksgiving stay

Booked this property while in town for a family Thanksgiving. Admittedly we didn't spend much time at the property, but the house was super clean and as represented in the ad. We had some initial issues with the keypad on the front door, but the owner was very communicative and helpful in resolving the issue. Would stay here again!
