Guests staying at Walnut Mountain Properties are welcome to use the community pool and tennis courts at no additional cost to guests. Pool pass is required and shall be provided at the property for guests' use. Guests understand and agree that all rules of the resort providing the amenities will be adhered to. Guest also understands that Mountain Oasis is not responsible for any closures of any amenity during their stay regardless of the reason. Pool season is Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Tennis Court(s) is available year around.

Welcome to Deer Haven, a beautiful, fully furnished, modern but cozy mountain cabin nestled in the quaint Walnut Mountain community. True to it's name, this area is home to many white tail deer and it is not uncommon to see them while at the cabin. The cabin has a fresh new look and feel and has been designed with beauty and comfort in mind. Privately situated on a large lot, the cabin offers families and friends a great space to re-connect, relax and make some memories. The spacious great room has a gas log fireplace to take the chill off and create some ambiance whether you are just relaxing with a great book or getting settled in to enjoy a good movie. The king master has it's own private bath along with access to the side porch with a bistro style table to enjoy that first morning cup of joe or your favorite night cap before a great night's rest.

Downstairs has a large sectional sofa, a large flat screen TV, perfect for watching movies or the "Game". There is also a foosball table, board games, wine cooler along with another queen bedroom and full bath on this level for your enjoyment and comfort.

So if you are looking for a great cabin, Deer Haven may just be your ticket! Oh, and this place is dog friendly too, so pack up the whole family and head on up to North Georgia and see why everybody is so captivated with our little piece of heaven on earth!

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:

Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, Crock Pot, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans

Linens for each bed, (2) bath towels (1) hand towel (1) washcloth per person listed on reservation, dressers or closets for clothing storage, central heat and air, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, cable or satellite TV, internet, telephone for local calls.

In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels, (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags) , Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads) Laundry Detergent (1 load), and Dish Washing Soap (mini bottle).

Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items.

The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE CABIN ARE E-MAILED TO YOU 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL IF YOUR RESERVATION HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH YOUR GUEST LIST AND COPY OF YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE. WE DO NOT ALLOW SAME DAY CHECK IN'S ON SATURDAYS OR SUNDAYS.

​​​​​​​PLEASE NOTE: Last minute reservations (14 days prior to check in) will be required to check in at the Mountain Oasis office prior to 5pm, Mon-Fri unless previous arrangements are made in advance. Reservations made after 5pm for same day check in are NOT allowed.
