Mountaintown Retreat

Mountaintown Retreat is a newly built farmhouse-style cabin that blends rustic comfort with upscale design, tucked beside the flowing waters of Mountaintown Creek. From the hot tub to the private walking trail, every inch of this home was made to help you slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect with nature, your loved ones, and yourself.



This retreat is ideal for couples, friends, or a small family seeking a peaceful escape in the North Georgia mountains. Traveling with a bigger group? Mountaintown Retreat sits right beside two sister properties—Mountaintown Chalet and Mountaintown Cottage—perfect for larger gatherings that still allow for personal space.







Living Areas



The main-level living room invites you to kick off your shoes and stay awhile. A soft sofa and two armchairs offer plenty of space to relax by the gas fireplace, whether you're watching a movie on the smart TV or simply soaking up the cozy atmosphere. The space is warm and welcoming, with wood finishes, soft textures, and light streaming in through the windows.



Upstairs, a second living area provides guests with a quiet retreat. Two plush armchairs, a reading nook, and a full desk setup make this the perfect spot for a private conversation, morning journaling, or even a bit of remote work with a view.







Kitchen/Dining Areas



The kitchen is stocked and styled to support every kind of guest, from those who love to cook to those who love to snack. You'll find state-of-the-art appliances, pots, pans, utensils, a blender, a toaster, a Keurig (bring your favorite pods), wine glasses, and all the basics you need for preparing meals with ease.



The adjacent dining area features a farmhouse-style table where guests can gather for breakfast, dinner, or a round of cards. It’s a comfortable, communal space that encourages slow meals, good conversation, and time well spent.







Bedrooms/Baths



The main level is home to the Queen Suite, a restful retreat featuring a memory foam mattress, a ceiling fan, a smart TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a dual-sink vanity and a walk-in tile shower. It’s private, calming, and steps away from the heart of the home.



Upstairs, the second bedroom features a queen memory foam bed, vaulted ceilings, and its own smart TV. Guests here enjoy access to a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo—ideal for families with kids or guests who prefer a relaxing soak after a day of hiking.







Outdoor Amenities



The screened-in porch is a guest favorite, offering a private hot tub and outdoor seating just feet from the creek. Whether you're sipping coffee in the morning or soaking under the stars at night, the sounds of the water create a soothing soundtrack to your stay.



Just off the porch, a gravel path leads to a beautifully designed firepit area with four Adirondack chairs, a charcoal grill, and plenty of room to relax and reconnect outdoors. There’s even a set of cornhole boards for a little friendly competition as the sun goes down.



 



Mountaintown Retreat is a beautifully decorated 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin that sleeps up to four (4) people and offers the following:



King Bedroom on Main, private bath, and 32" flat-screen TV 

Queen bedroom on the Upper level, 32" flat-screen TV

Fully stocked kitchen with updated stainless steel appliances

The living room has a gas-burning fireplace (only active Oct. 1st - Apr. 1st), a 55" flat-screen TV

Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, two bath towels, 1 hand towel, and one washcloth per person listed on the guest list. A dresser or a closet for clothing storage. Central heat and air, washer/dryer, vacuum,/broom and dustpan, mop, and internet. In addition, we provide complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), one roll of paper towels, four kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, and laundry detergent for at least two loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.







Required Fees include a $125.00 Cleaning fee, a $65 Damage Protection Waiver, a processing fee, a guest service fee, and a 15% lodging tax
