We loved the charm of the cozy cabin-style decor. And the location. 2026 has been a hot summer in Colorado; we spent cool mornings on the deck overlooking the Fall River, afternoons exploring RMNP. This side of the road near the river is awesome for birds and elk. We enjoyed the pool in spite of splashing children. Thia unit, 286, does not offer a private hot tub; the Fawn Valley Inn does not have a public hot tub either, so if you want a hot tub, get a unit that does. The deck was awesome. Wifi was too weak for reliable internet, definitely not for streaming. We had to go to the library in Estes for a Zoom call.We had a very loud set of guests above us. They had lead feet very early in the morning. Ear plugs were helpful.Kitchen is very cozy but we were able to cook dinner and have all our breakfasts there. The Inn doesn't have housekeeping service at all. I used the online system and asked for our kitchen floor to be cleaned and they didn't do it. But you can request supplies. We enjoyed our stay, but would look for a standalone cabin next time with a kitchenette, and hopefully better wifi.
