WALK THROUGH THE HOME WITH US
Make your way up the drive way and take the first right to drive into your allocated car space. From here there are two pathways up to the accommodation. Once arriving at the front sliding door, you will notice around you the outdoor table, fire pit and BBQ area which has an awesome ocean view. The studio is attached to the main house. You have the entire bottom level to yourself. There is a door that leads to upstairs level, however this has a two way lock on it for added comfort knowing its always locked.
Walking into this recently built studio, you will notice its modern charm. With a slight industrial feel to it, the space, materials and styling has all been considered. The kitchen, living and dining are all located in this open plan area, it's the hub of the place! To the right there is a dining table which seats 6 people. The living area is on the left and is comfortable and cosy. There are a couple of board games for you to use which are located in the TV cabinet or if you're wanting to sit back and enjoy a cuppa there are ocean views from this space too. If you're on a working holiday/weekend away, there is a desk located in the corner for you. A split system is in this space to heat or cool the room depending on what time of year you visit.
The kitchen is neat. It has all the appliances you require for your stay. There is an air fryer for you to do most of your âovenâ based cooking and a dishwasher to keep washing dishes to a minimum! There are other convenient appliances for you to use too - all brand new as of December 2024.
Walking through the corridor, there is a bathroom/laundry on your left, the main bedroom to the right and at the end of the corridor is bedroom 2. The bathroom and laundry as mentioned are combined. There is a shower, toilet, washing machine and clothes dryer in this space.
Bedroom 1 the main bedroom, has a queen size bed in it. Bedroom 2 has 2 x king single beds in it. Both bedrooms have built in robes for you to unpack into and also ceiling fans to keep things cool in summer. Spare blankets are also located in both robes.
Moving back outside to the front of the studio, this is a great outdoor space for you to entertain guests or family. Outdoor seating, an outdoor shower, fire pit and BBQ are all available for you to use during your stay. Sit back with your drink of choice and watch the sky change colour as the sun sets over Fairhaven.
Guest Access:
To gain access to the property, guests will need to come and collect the keys from our Aireys Inlet office. Located at 4/75 Great Ocean Road, Aireys Inlet, 3231. We are located next to the mini golf. You will have access to the entire property during your stay. If you will be arriving late at night or after office hours we can arrange a key drop off. To access the property with a car, look for the property number which is clearly seen from the street.
The Neighborhood:
The property is located on Lialeeta Road in Fairhaven. Lialeeta Road is a highly sort after street due to its ocean views. The property is walking distance down to Fairhaven Surf Beach. This beach is patrolled during peak season. This is approximately 750m walk. There is a great little kiosk where you can grab a coffee and some food, and at night time be sure to check out the incredible food at the Life Saving Club which is open during peak season too.
Enjoy the nearby family friendly activities in Aireys Inlet such as the Great Ocean Road Mini Golf, Aireys Inlet SkatePark and Playground, the Bark Hut reserve and of course you could take the Eco Logic Split Point Lighthouse Tour and climb to the top of the famous Round the Twist lighthouse. There are some great beaches to explore in Aireys/Fairhaven and of course Painkalac Creek if you're wanting to paddle board, kayak or fish.
Getting Around:
We would recommend bringing a vehicle as if you need to do a substantial grocery shop or to shop for particular ingredients you might need to visit the neighbouring towns Anglesea and Lorne where you can shop at an IGA or Foodworks. However, once you have settled into the property with all your goods, walking or riding a bike around would be our choice!
