Welcome Visitors to our newly renovated townhome:
We are new to VRBO and are delighted to share your vacation experience with us. Phase 1 buildings are surrounded by the Rocky Mountains and the Columbia Valley. Our guest suite is adjacent to the 17th fairway of the Mountainside Golf course.
Walking access to the Riverside and Creekside golf courses, numerous mapped hiking/biking trails and the world famous Fairmont Hot Springs Resort ( admission price daily) c/w Indian Baths, mineral pools, diving pool, lounges, zip lines and full service cabanas on grassed lounging areas can be accessed with ease.
A short 10 minute drive offers winter enthusiasts opportunities to enjoy the Fairmont ski hill with the Panorama facilities just a 30 minute drive. On your way to Panorama you might want to take in the town of Invermere\Windermere with numerous shopping experiences and staff eager to please. Of course skating/walking on " The Great White Way" of Lake Windermere is a must.
Summer season activities include several beaches, fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking, wake boarding and small water craft launch sites well equipped with rentals if required. Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday markets are displayed with local artisans and farm families from Edgewater, Radium, Windermere, Fairmont and Canal Flats presenting their wares.
Our "Guest Suite" is a newly furnished, well equipped with 450 square feet of lower level, handicap accessible space and another 200 square feet of furnished patio/BBQ. Attached photos will say it all. A designated parking stall is included with marked visitor parking available on a first come basis. Hopefully we can make your stay memorable and pleasant with repeat visits a priority.
For more mobile visitors there are 14 championship golf courses, 5 world class Ski Hills, Heli skiing, Helicopter Tours, River Rafting, mountainside Horse Trails and a Chamber of Commerce at Windermere.
Local shopping is available in the townsite shopping center at the turn off highway 93 at the huge Fairmont Resort Sign. The center contains an AG Foods Market with well stocked groceries, freshly butchered meat/deli products, liquor sales and post office, several other gift shops, pizza/ice cream parlor and restaurants will please. A very active Lions Club Branch is also located next to the center.
Location wise we are 1 hour north of the Cranbrook, BC, International Airport and 3 hours west of Calgary International Airport with stops at Banff and Canmore along the trans Canada highway.
