Beautifully restored and curated by its owners who have enjoyed special holidays here, this luxury property is just waiting for you to make your own happy memories too. Boasting three bedrooms, one of which has a rocking chair for you to relax on, and two bathrooms, this property would be ideal for two couples or three generations travelling together, with one bedroom and bathroom located on the ground floor. It would also be great for families looking for a property with both a contemporary shower cubicle and a bath, which is just perfect for a long stress-free soak.

The well-equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in and is open plan with the living and dining area, making for a sociable space. This property has had a lot of thought and love poured into it. There are just lovely touches throughout, with little hand painted murals and contemporary furniture which also nods to period living.

The south-west facing enclosed garden is a great space to enjoy a morning coffee or a sundowner after a busy day sightseeing and whether inside the cottage or in the garden, you are sure to feel the stresses and strains of everyday life just melt away. The large tree in the back garden is no longer there but there is now plenty of room to play ball games or take out the giant chess board available at the cottage.

There are many beautiful walks around the cottage, including a walk up the hill to see Bloodgate Hill Fort, dating back to the Iron Age. The local village pub, across from Seascape Cottage, serves fantastic pub and casual food, after a change in ownership. There is also a cosy pub a few mins drive away (30 min walk). A children’s playground is within a couple of minutes’ walk, as well as a football pitch.

Just 10 minutes’ away from the pretty seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea with its wide sandy beach, picturesque quay and painted beach huts, there is also a great deal to love about this location. Coast lovers will have miles of undulating coastline to explore where they will find beaches (like Holkham, Brancaster, Burnham Overy Staithe), creeks, salt and clay marshes, sand dunes and stripey cliffs. History buffs will enjoy visits to the Holkham, Blickling, Sandringham and Houghton Estates, the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn, Norwich Castle, Walsingham and the Thursford Collection with its Christmas Spectacular and lots of local museums.

Nature lovers will be pleased to find Pensthopre Nature Reserve (with amazing children’s’ play areas), Sheringham Park and RSPB, Cley, Titchwell and Snettisham marshes all within easy reach.

This area has quite the foodie scene too, ideal for when you’ve worked up an appetite from fun-filled days or all that sea air. Nearby Creake Abbey and its lovely farmers’ market on the last Saturday of the month is also well worth a visit.
