neu renovierte Haus

Zwei Schlafzimmer mit 1 Queen & 1 Doppelbett, voll ausgestattete Küche, TV-und Gas-Kamin, original Ahornholzboden im Wohnzimmer und 1 Schlafzimmer, Korkböden in Küche und Schlafzimmer. Keramikfliesen Eintrag und Bad, begehbarer Dusche und separater Badewanne auf Löwenfüßen auf niedrigerem Niveau. Fuß aus Keller mit direktem Zugang zum Wanderwegenetz. Neu mit großen Rasenfläche angelegt. Haus wurde komplett mit neuen Elektro-, Sanitär- & Heizungsanlagen installiert entkernt. Spray-Schaum-Isolierung wurde hinzugefügt energieeffizient und eliminieren Außengeräusche zu sein. Wir haben eine zentrale Klimaanlage, in der Zeit für den Sommer Hitzewellen. Wir sind jetzt mit WI-FI angeschlossen.
Dieses Ferienhaus ist während deines Aufenthalts der ideale Ausgangspunkt für einen kurzen Fußmarsch hierhin: Superior National Forest. Dieses Ferienhaus beinhaltet verschiedene Annehmlichkeiten, unter anderem eine Küche und einen Kamin.

The house is beautifully built and furnished. The only thing that didn’t work for us is that the queen size bed needs replacing. Also it was not the best for us that the bathroom is on the lower level from everything else.

I love this house! The comfy vibe of the house and the location a few miles up the hill from the big lake make it a peaceful location away from the bustle of highway 61. It is quiet up there with a nice kitchen area to sit and play a game at the table or enjoy a conversation across the table or into the open, adjacent living area.

Stayed 2 nights on our way between Voyageurs and Isle Royale National Parks. Place was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and it was a good location to explore the Minnesota coast of Lke Superior up to Grand Portage. We would stay here again.

North Shore Getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sisu house. Diane was very welcoming and had everything we needed. Our kids enjoyed the fire pit and looking through the books about Minnesota while relaxing in the living room. There is so much to do nearby, we explored several state parks. My 2 children and I stayed here for 3 nights while we explored the North Shore. The location was perfect for driving up and down the shore. The house was on a beautiful and quiet property. Very neat and clean with a lot of homemade items that have a warm and inviting feeling. Stocked with games, books, info on the north shore. Host was very nice! Would love to stay again.

Very clean and well kept. If you come with babies, consider bringing a gate for the stairway. Bathroom is downstairs, living area is upstairs. Owner was helpful and obviously loves this little house. Would definitely recommend bringing bugspray if you plan on being outside later in day. Will stay here next time we come.

Perfect for a long weekend stay

What a cute and comfortable place to stay. A perfect “home” away from home for sightseeing, hiking and exploring from Jay Cooke State Park up to Grand Portage State Park. Very clean, did some grilling and cooking, but also ate out some. Not so expensive you felt you had to eat there for every meal.Thank you! Hope to be back again sometime.

Perfect for Snowmobilers

This home was perfect for our family of four. We stayed for a weekend of snowmobiling and this location was wonderful. Plenty of space to park truck and trailer. Home was beautiful and was equipped wonderfully. Only suggestion would be a more comfortable couch. Diane was an excellent and very responsive host.

Great place to stay. About a mile to get the snowmobiles to the actual trail but very doable. Super nice place, beds were very comfy. The only complaint i have is its going to cost you 60 more dollars than what this app shows. So much for no hidden fees, it won't let you checkout without it. It's dianes childhood home, she's allowed to be protective. End of the day i would stay here again. Just don't charge me for things i was never going to do.

Beware. Will not stay here again.

Owner charged $100 for "Tire marks on deck walkway." Asked for photo showing the marks, but none was provided. My nephew has a small, kids e-bike that he brought inside one night. I can't imagine that the marks couldn't have just be wiped off. $100 is ridiculous. I think owner was just trying to find something to charge us for since we had five people instead of our planned two. My nephews and brother decided to come last minute. Photos do not depict the house well. It's very close to a major road. Bathroom is in basement. Living room is tiny. Tub was "out of order". Toaster didn't work. Bed was incredibly squeaky. Owner's requirement to come to property and have me fill out a registration card was absurd. I have never experienced that with another VRBO property. On the plus side, house was clean and had plenty of amenities. Despite that, we will never stay here again.

The Cutest Northern Get Away!

The Sisu House was the perfect place for me and my friend to enjoy the fall colors of Northern MN. Situated in Finland, we were the perfect distance away from the hustle of determined leaf peepers, but close enough to local restaurants and roads to explore. My only regret was that we did not stay another night to hangout in the house and read books while rain sprinkled down. Diane is an excellent host, and very welcoming. She also must be a foodie because the kitchen was stocked with all the supplies you would need for making your own meals. I hope to stay here again soon!
