Die Wohnung befindet sich im vierten Stock (mit Aufzug) eines eleganten historischen GebÀudes in der zentralen Via dei Cerchi in Florenz. Wir befinden uns genau im Zentrum der Stadt auf halbem Weg zwischen Piazza della Signoria und Piazza del Duomo: Es gibt kein zentraleres Haus als dieses.
Das kĂŒrzlich renovierte Signoria Elegant ist in einem modernen Stil eingerichtet und bietet komfortable Zimmer mit allem nötigen Komfort, um Ihnen einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt im Herzen von Florenz zu garantieren.

Die InnenrĂ€ume sind auf zwei Ebenen organisiert. Sobald Sie eintreten, finden Sie einen kleinen Flur, der rechts zum ersten Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und links zum ersten Badezimmer (wo sich auch die Waschmaschine befindet) und zum gerĂ€umigen offenen Raum fĂŒhrt, der zwischen dem Wohnzimmer (wo sich ein bequemes Sofa befindet) aufgeteilt ist Doppelbett und TV) und die sehr moderne offene KĂŒche; Diese Umgebung ist sehr hell und ermöglicht es den GĂ€sten, sich nach einem Tag voller Besichtigungen im magischen Florenz vor dem Fernseher oder vor einem guten Buch zu entspannen.

Great location, clean, and easy check in with nice host. The apartment was not a comfortable place to spend time - very limited seating (one couch for two people) and the beds could be improved. The downstairs bathroom had an overwhelming smell of sulfur and was almost unusable. Two of our party elected to stay in a hotel rather than spend a second night at the apartment.

The apartment is in an amazing location, walking distance to shopping, museums, supermarket and restaurants. The apartment was not ready for our check in time and we did not have hot water the 1st day. The communication with the management team was easy and they did address our issues promptly.

The location was PERFECT!  However, I feel it necessary to make the following comments. Concern 1. VRBO listing had sleeping arrangements as:  bedroom 1, 1 dbl bed, bedroom 2, 1 dbl bed, and 1 dbl pull-out sofa. I understood this meant the property slept 6, even though there was a conflicting note on the listing that the apt slept 5. We assumed the "5" was a typo based on the bed configuration and 6 guests were approved. Upon arrival, one bed was a small single. I spoke to VRBO, and I was told it was a translation error, and nothing could be done.  Their "translation error" resulted in one couple having to find their own apartment at a significant expense. Because of this, I also learned that when there are conflicting details, I will never ass u me and reach out for confirmation.Concern 2. The upstairs bathroom shower is moldy and requires scrubbing; the shower head needs to be replaced as it does not stay up. See images below.CONCERN 3. Provided 1 set of keys, a 2nd set is a MUST with 2 couples - coordinating arrival times so no one was left stranded on the street waiting was frustrating.I want to thank the young gentleman who greeted us. He was kind and professional.Overall, if VRBO can update the listing with the correct bed configuration, clean the upstairs bathroom of the mold, and replace the shower head, and offer an additional set of keys, the apartment is in a very sought-after area, and I would have no problem recommending a stay.

Great location

Can't beat the location of this apartment if you want to be in the center of Florence. The place was clean and checkin was easy. The beds are not the most comfortable but will do for most. Seems well appointed though we didn't use the kitchen at all, why would you with the abundance of amazing restaurants nearby?

Great location and beautiful apartment

The place was absolutely beautiful and even had an elevator in the building to get up to the apartment. It was in a central location but off the beaten path and had a market close as well as restaurants. The only thing was the downstairs main bathroom was broke when we got there and they had a plumber fixing it. He left it a mess and we had to clean it up which was disgusting since there was toilet water and feces all over the bathroom. It was hard to have a conversation with whoever was in charge after hours since this was all at night around 9pm and kept getting the run around. Finally they agreed to reimburse me 20% which should have been 50% but I was tired of going back and forth with them. So all in all it was a terrific place as long as nothing is wrong in the apartment

Good location, terrible host experience

The apartment is right in the action in Florence, however the host was a real challenge. We booked for four people, but only had 3 pillows. The check-in was slow and we waited 15 minutes for the rep to show up and let us in. There were no dishwashing detergent or cleaning supplies. We complained to the regular line and the emergency line then finally after 6 messages and 2 days (half of our trip) they finally came with additional pillow cases and cleaning supplies.

Florence stay.

Great central location for exploring Florence, walking distance to all the main attractions and train station. Apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed, appreciated the elevator to avoid the stairs in the July heat. Lots of room for our family of five. Wifi did not work great all the time and the AC had a hard time keeping up during the heat wave but all things considered we would definitely recommend staying here. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice two bedroom, two bath within walking distance to the major attractions of Florence. Pictures look better than the apartment. Loved having the heavy shutters to keep noise and light out. I wish the host communicated more. FYI, no laundry soap, and if you want extra towels there is a charge.

Burglarized

Had we not been burglarized the apartment might have received 3.5 stars. We were only given 1 key at check-in. The next day, when we returned from sightseeing, the 4th floor apartment was just as we’d left it – locked & orderly. When we looked closer, we realized my mother’s jewelry, makeup, souvenirs & $ had been stolen. We contacted the host, not only bc we were burglarized, but bc we felt unsafe -- it appeared the burglar used a key to enter. However, it was close to the hosts’ closing time, so they were unhelpful. We spent the next day with the police, losing non-refundable admission tickets. The host said they would look at video, but I’ve heard nothing. Burglars are everywhere, of course, but the hosts’ lack of concern is disturbing. Additional problems: The upstairs bed sinks in the middle – only 1 person can sleep uncomfortably on it. And the host did not turn on the hot water heater – they said there were instructions on pg. 18 of the house-book, but it was non-existent. But it wasn’t all bad. It was clean, in a great location, had a washer w/ a dryer, an elevator, was well decorated, & comfortable.

Apartment in city center

The location is great- lots of restaurants in the area and within walking distance to many galleries, the Arno River and other attractions- . The main bedroom does not have AC only a fan so if you are planning to go in the summer it may be hot- there was a heat wave when we were there in mid October- so we had to leave the bedroom door open with the fan on to get air from the AC in the living room The apartment is clean but needs some TLC The plastic lamp in the bedroom was broken. The rack to hold toiletries in the main bathroom was broken- the shower stall in the main bathroom its very small- the bathroom upstairs is bigger- having 2 bathrooms definitely helped. The main door to the building was constantly left opened by other tenants although there was a sign posted to close the door behind you the apartment is on the 4th floor and the elevator was a big help.
