Newly Renovated 1 Block from Beach w/Pool!~The Jolly Folly

One of Folly's Best! This 5-bedroom 4 bath home is perfect for large families or groups looking for open space, comfort, and maximum options for activity. Both the front and back of the home boast expansive decks (one enclosed and one open) so you have plenty of room to lounge the days away, and a new in-ground swimming pool. One short block from the ocean and 5 blocks down the road to all of the food and shopping Folly has to offer. The spacious layout leads from the updated kitchen into the airy living room and upstairs to the entertainment loft area. The loft is appointed with a card table for game night enjoyment. Accommodations comfortably sleep up to 12 people and the bed types are as follows: 2 Kings, 5 Queens, 3 Twins, and a sofa bed. The Jolly Folly allows up to 3 well-behaved, house-broken, flea-treated dogs with approval. Please include the breed and size of your dogs when you inquire. The hot tub is heated on an automatic schedule between 4pm to 10pm. All photos are current and accurately depict the property. Please book with confidence. This property is licensed by the city of Folly Beach as a vacation rental - License Number 045480. Because of the potential of fraud we would not recommend booking a property not licensed by the city of Folly Beach as a vacation rental.

This house was amazing. It was clean, had a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of room and was easily accessible to the downtown area. There were plenty of areas to congragate to watch tv or play card games. We loved the hot tub, but wished that it stayed hot all day. The rental info was very clear however that it was only to be used 4-10. The only complaint that we have is that there were not any throw blankets or extra bedding. We went on a very cold long weekend and it would have been nice to have some while we lounged. The check in and check out were super easy and the rental co communicated very promptly.

This is an amazing house! It is in the perfect location in Folly Beach! It is a couple blocks from the beach (you can hear the ocean from the porch/yard!) and is a 10-15 min walk to Center Street. There is a hot tub and pool, a screened porch, a pool table, plenty of parking, plenty of beds, and plenty of kitchen supplies. The decor is pretty remarkable as well.

Awesome location and house!

The property worked perfect for our family! It was in a great location close to the beach and in walking distance to shops/restaurants. It was so nice to have beach toys, pool floaties, and games to play at the property so we didn't have to purchase all of these.

Amazing Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a delightful Thanksgiving week at the Jolly Folly! The property proved to be an ideal fit for our large family, consisting of 8 adults, 3 kids, and 3 dogs. Its excellent location near the beach and local restaurants/shops added to the overall enjoyment, and the house was thoughtfully equipped for hosting dinners, including our Thanksgiving feast. We were particularly pleased with the responsiveness of the property owners. Before our stay, there were some issues with the pool heater, but they promptly informed us and kept us updated on the repair process. Their attentiveness contributed to a smooth and enjoyable experience. We can't wait to visit the Jolly Folly again soon!

3 night stay at Jolly Folly

We enjoyed everything about our brief end-of-summer stay at The Jolly Folly! The proximity to the beach and restaurants/shops was perfect for us. And, the home itself was fun, inviting, and relaxing. We especially loved the pool and spa! Having visited Folly Beach many times over the last 10 years.....this is probably our favorite spot we've stayed in! We look forward to coming back and hopefully enjoying a longer stay!

Outstanding spot and location

Stayed here over the weekend and everything was perfect. Plenty of space, beds, bathrooms and showers. The location was unless than 5 mins to the beach, and 10 mins to downtown folly. There’s a 24/7 store close by TF or any needs. Would recommend and stay here again.

Beach Heaven

5-minute walk to a wonderful beach. House was clean and cool when we needed it. The games, pool table, and amazing kitchen were perfect when people were done with the sun. A big plus is the proximity to town. Walking to restaurants and Bert's market is perfect when it gets really crowded during the weekends. One thing I would love to see there is a large table outside to eat at. We always ate dinner outside and would have loved something where we could all sit at.

Well appointed, convenient and spacious

The updated kitchen with an island large enough to gather around was a popular spot for our family to spend time. Beaten out only by the large screen porch with fans that helped the breeze cool you off. Short walk to the beach and easy walk to 'downtown' made it the perfect spot. When we did have a problem it was resolved within an hour late on a Sunday afternoon which was a pleasant surprise. We'd definitely stay again any chance we get.

Best location

We needed a place for about 12 people we had relatives that lived nearby but we have a lot of friends and relatives traveling from out of state everyone was really happy with the house that was very nicely outfitted. Especially the kitchen had the best supplies of any place I’ve rented and I’ve done a lot of VRBO rentals! The location was perfect we could walk to the beach in a minute walk into town in 15 minutes, it was relatively quiet and enough room and areas for people to hang out in. We enjoyed the property and the area so much we’re talking about making it an annual event. My only recommendation would be to have beach towels available.
