Willkommen zu Änderungen in den Einstellungen am Folly Beach! Diese Immobilie mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 1 Bad ist perfekt fĂŒr einen Familienurlaub am Strand oder einen Kurzurlaub am Wochenende. Das Haus verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine gerĂ€umige, abgeschirmte Veranda fĂŒr das Leben im Freien. Die Unterkunft befindet sich im Erdgeschoss einer Maisonette, die einen einfachen Zugang ohne Treppen ermöglicht. Die EigentĂŒmer haben wirklich keine Kosten gescheut, um dieses klassische Folly-Cottage in ein fantastisches Mietziel zu verwandeln. Der offene Grundriss umfasst einen Flachbild-TV, eine KĂŒche und einen Essbereich. Die KĂŒche wurde mit allen neuen GerĂ€ten, Granit-Arbeitsplatten und allen KĂŒchengerĂ€ten, die Sie benötigen, aktualisiert. Alle Schlafzimmer haben neue Betten und hochwertige BettwĂ€sche. Zwei der Schlafzimmer verfĂŒgen ĂŒber ein Queensize-Bett, wĂ€hrend das dritte Schlafzimmer mit einem Etagenbett perfekt fĂŒr Kinder geeignet ist. Das Gemeinschaftsbad wurde gerade renoviert und verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine große ebenerdige Dusche.

Das Haus ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Strand und der Center Street entfernt, wo Sie alle lokalen Folly Beach-GeschĂ€fte, Restaurants, Live-Musik, den zweitlĂ€ngsten Angelpier an der OstkĂŒste und vieles mehr erleben können!

Changes In Attitudes verfĂŒgt ĂŒber WLAN und Flachbildfernseher in den Schlafzimmern mit Kabelanschluss. Zum Grillen steht ein Gasgrill zur VerfĂŒgung. The location was good close to the beach but the cleaning needs to be improved. Took a shower when I got there got out of shower to walk to living room and bottom of my feet was black that fast. Cob webs everywhere

Great Location, Good for 3 or less People, not luxurious, no amenities.

This place is way too small for a family of 5 unless the kids are little. The pictures make it look a lot bigger than it is. The house will sleep six, but there is only seating for 4 on the porch, at the dining table and only 2 in the living room. Luxury bedding at stated in the VRBO description....not really. The fishing pier....under construction, that should be updated on the VRBO website also. Looks like it has been underway for a long time and doesn't look close to being finished. The road in front of the house also has a lot of construction going on and it is a very busy street with constant car and foot traffic so not really a peaceful place to relax. The porch is pretty dirty and the furniture is not comfortable. I know it's difficult to keep it clean with all the sand blowing, but the walls have dirty marks all over them and the place looks like it needs a good hose down. Would not recommend for people over 6 feet, my husband and 2 sons had to watch their heads so as not to hit the fans, the ceilings are pretty low. For our family with 3 large teenagers this house was too small. It was all about the location which was really great. Easy walk to the shopping area and to the beach. I would call it adequate, but I wouldn't recommend staying here with more than 3 adults or teenagers.

Quick Folly Trip

Rental agency was fantastic to work with after our original reservations fell through due to unforeseen circumstances. Could not recommend this location and agency any stronger. We will return!

Not enough linens and washcloths

There was only 1 washcloth and 2 towels per person. If you’re there a week, this is no good. There were no sheets for the pull out couch. Dishes were dusty on the shelf and trash under the couch from previous guests.

Great Location

Overall we enjoyed our stay. I should have read the fine print because I didn’t realize that there isn’t a tub and we have a toddler. The yard could use some work, the porch could be cleaned up, and it wasn’t overly clean inside. Seemed a bit overpriced for a cinder block basement apartment (we stayed in the lower unit), but the location is great. Super convenient to the beach, the pier, Center Street, and Bert’s.

The location was great and initially we were very excited. They were having sewer issues which we were not told about initially. Once it rained the yard, our stuff , us covered in unpleasantness --- not such a great experience , especially since the pump wasn't working and they knew of the potential problem. Property management found us another place to stay, which was great. Much farther away from the beach and the fun of Folly -- not compensated for anything. I understand things can go wrong but ......

Folly Beach Getaway

My wife, adult daughter and I had a fine time here. It was clean, comfortable and convenient to the beach and Center St. We would recommend it with a few caveats and notes to the owners for improvements. One issue that has been fixed is how the place was promoted. The description listed a dishwasher but there isn't one. Not awful, but this meant like two hours of our vacation was spent doing dishes. We called this to the owners' attention and they took a little off the rent. The place can be noisy. Ashley St. is the main street for the northern end of the island and you get golf carts, dump trucks and utility vans going constantly, especially on the weekend. There is a bar with live music about two blocks away which can get loud on the weekend, but they do shut down the music at 10 pm so not a dealbreaker. It is great to be close to beach and Center Street. It was maybe 5 minutes from your chair to saltwater on your toes. Two minutes to Berts, the amazing overpriced convenience store. I did not use the service, but as a Portlander use to microbrews everywhere it was nice that Bert's sells growlers to go. Another two minutes on Ashley and you are in the gut of places for fun and frolic. Parking is tough near center street and the sandy lots cost $10 to $20 so if you stay 10 blocks away you might find yourself in a predictament. The place itself is spacious. Beds are big for the rooms but you don't spend a lot of time in your bed in Folly. We know it is hard to supply a place like this. Towels were fine, but we felt the one roll of TP for what could have been six people was a bit light. Also, the lack of a corkscrew was annoying. We bought a cheap one and left it. Decor was cheery if a bit predictable. The front porch was a good place for coffee in the morning, although being on the ground floor really emphasized the traffic. The wifi worked without a hitch. All in all, we would recommend. I think the next time we come to the Folly area, we might see if we could afford a place on the beach or possibly sample the more posh Sullivan's Island.
