Welcome to Dolphin Beach Retreat, your unique place in paradise! This property is located mid-island with beach access just steps across Estero Boulevard. A quiet relaxing location for that desired getaway, yet just a short walk along the beach is a kiosk for jet-ski rentals, parasailing rides, and even dolphin tours along a 7-mile stretch of white, sugary sand beach.

Super convenient to the supermarket and an upscale bistro on the bay. Trolley service along the boulevard is available to transport you to Times Square, with all of its restaurants, clubs, and night life.

The property has a fantastic lanai porch with ambient evening lighting that leads to the property entrance. The nicely furnished living area has comfy sofa, TV with YouTubeTV. Dining area finds a table seating 6, and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything is available that you would need to cook daily multi-course dinners, or simply make a pot of coffee in the morning.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, closet, and plenty of dresser space. Guest bedroom has a queen size bed, closet, and plenty of dresser space. Downstairs common area has a washer and dryer. There's a propane grill that is shared. All lower levels have evening ambient lighting and privacy lattice work surrounds this area. You'll also find parking spaces accommodating 2 vehicles.

There are many restaurants and shops a short drive north across the bridge towards south Fort Myers. The same is true if you drive south towards Bonita Beach. Water activities abound with fishing charters, scuba and snorkel adventures, jet ski rentals, para-sailing, etc. Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples are all modern cities with plenty of shopping, dining and sight seeing to experience. The South West International Airport in Fort Myers is close by for convenience as well.

Dog friendly restrictions and fees apply. Dogs are permitted up to 25 lbs and non-aggressive breeds only with pet fee paid in advance. Limit of two. Fee is $20 per night per dog.

We appreciate the supplies that were here.The grill worked great and we appreciate it being here. Absolutely great location, reminded us of our spot at Red Coconut RV Park before Hurricane Ian.Bedroom fans make noise when on making it difficult to use during sleeping hours.Could sure use some shelves (even open) in the corner to the right of the oven/stove above the counter. Installation of a microwave above the stove sure would provide more useable counter space. Either need more counter space or medicine cabinet or standing cabinet in both bathrooms.Need some type of dish drainer apparatus since there is no dish washer. We bought one you can keep. Please make sure you tell people it is only a Keurig coffee maker only.Based on the orientation of the kitchen, it would be very advantageous to reverse the refrigerator doors so the opening faces the kitchen counter. There is also a need for some type of cutting board especially since the supplied knife set is all serrated blades that could negatively impact the formica..The sofa is missing a support leg where the back stops on the chez. It is already falling and not going to last long. Other kitchen items that would be helpful are: peeler, meat thermometer, tongs, ice cube trays,It would be much better to have a TV wall mount that could extend and swivel towards the dining table.The half bath needs a better anchor for the towel rack.It is great that there is a gas grill but need some metal kitchen tools to use on it

Disappointing

For the price I was hoping for a better quality bed and pillows. I was unable to sleep on the bed because it was hard as a rock. The pillows were flat. Sleeping on the couch was better. The pullout bed from the couch was also super uncomfortable (like most pullout beds).

the hobbit hole was a disappointment.

We were informed a week before our reservation that there was an issue with our rental and they would have to move us to another unit. This unit was sold to me as a brand new remodel, also the renting agent was not willing to give any discounts for the inconvenience however she did confirm it would be ok to check in early. witch we discussed via phone that it would be ok to come in 12 hrs earlier. all sounded good. showed up to rental about 10 hrs early and it was very unmarked. found and got in unit to find. no interior door knob's. very dirty and dusty with construction debris. tools and supplies left on porch and bathroom. outlets not secured. shower floor drain not secured. chair moldings incomplete protruding from the walls. paint unfinished. half a roll of toilet paper. odor in bathroom when fan was on. musty mold smell in witch kinda took your breath away. all this aside. we got inside cleaned up a bit and layed down to rest after a 20 hr drive. i was woke up by a man entering the rental and yelling from the main room. i got up to find a dude standing in the main room of the rental. asking who i was. apparently my early check in was not communicated with all party's envolved. he gave me the second key for the rental and left. they sent someone to "finish up"the place that day around 2. all that was done was two door knobs were installed. they then asked if they could come back to keep working on the place. i denied. went a bought toilet paper. and delt with the hobbit hole of a rental. beware of coastal breeze rentals. when i asked for compensation they credited me one night and proceeded to imply that i fabricated the pictures.

Steps to the Beach

The apartment was simple but comfortable. Great for the two of us and the dogs. Beach access at the end of the street. Convenient mid-island location. We enjoyed out stay.
