The condo is located in the great location. Not much scenery, but that’s not what we were there for. It’s about 100 yards from the beach, which is perfect. Could’ve used a few more towels. Could’ve used a couple more garbage bags and it would’ve been nice if the condo would’ve had a blow dryer with it we didn’t have one. We had to go purchase one.

Lots of things need fixed/replaced.

Here is a list of things we came up with during our stay: -Stained towels -Dusty and looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time -Comforter on bed was not washed, neither were the pillows. -Sheets had hair on them -Room smelled like rotten meat -Wi-Fi did not work half the time -Dirty floors -Dirty dishes -Only one coffee mug -Coffee pot was filled with old water when we opened it -No shower curtain liner so water got everywhere -Damaged microwave -No ceiling fans -Cigarette butts in bottom of trash can -Lamps damaged/flickering -Light switch in bedroom does not work -Blood stain on couch -TV didn’t work half the time. The service cut in and out every 1 minute. When we first checked into the room, it smelled of rotten meat and was lacking cleanliness. We had to go out and by our own cleaning supplies to clean the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. A lot of the basic things in the room were damaged or did not work as they should, especially the TV, internet, and lights. We paid quite a bit of money for the room and probably won’t be staying in it again. However, the location of the room was convenient.

Convenient to beach!

The condo was clean and we loved the fact it was on the bottom floor. It was a few steps to the beach. The are a few negatives but not enough to make us not stay here again. The shower temperatures ranged from scalding to cold when you try to adjust knobs. Also, only 2 coffee cups and one was cracked. I would still stay here again for the convenience to the beach.

Perfect for two!

Great little condo for two people- very close and convenient to the beach and pool and no stairs or elevators! Nicely updated and firm king mattress. The only thing lacking was a mat for inside the tub/shower. Very happy with our decision to stay.

Ground level was great for my pregnant wife.

Not beach or pool front however very nice clean area. Found some roaches but that is to be expected on the ground floor unfortunately. About a 100 yard walk to the beach. The only view available is the fence and parking lot. So if you need a view look elsewhere if you are into easy access and cheap this is the condo for you.

Ground floor beach condo

We had a good stay. The condo was on the ground level with easy access to the pool and beach. There is not a ramp to the pool or beach, the only way to access is by stairs. The bed and couch bed were comfortable. Our room was quiet and we didn’t hear noise from other units. Condo seemed clean, but floor needed a good mopping. Short drive to local restaurants and souvenir shops. Shower/bath water gets very hot, so if you have little ones be careful! Map said there is a washer and dryer, but we never did find it. I assume it was somewhere... not sure. Parking could have been more convenient. There were spots out our front door, but those were for other units. This condo has a spot across the parking lot. Check in and out was fine but having a keypad with code for door would be easier than picking up and dropping off keys. All dishes are glass, which is fine, but with little ones a few plastic dishes would have been helpful. Condo had salt/pepper, dishes, crockpot, some towels, some toilet paper, two soaps for dishwasher, not tons of stuff, but enough to get you started. Thank you!

Underwhelming

The property was less than clean (stained linens and sand on the floor), which in today's COVID climate was disconcerting. The bare minimum amenities were provided as well, we ran out of toilet paper and trash bags on day 2, there were 2 filters for the coffee maker provided for a 4-night stay. Also, parking instructions were vague and required call to management to identify the correct spot. Won't be back.

Very Outdated

The condo has amazing potential but is sadly extremely outdated. The owner could make this place really nice with a few thousand dollars. Bedrooms need carpet, the entire condo had tile which got sandy because of the beach, which was gross to walk on at night time. Bed was pretty comfortable but the couches felt old and grimey. Fort Walton has become extremely overcrowded and overall just a rough place to stay. I can't say I would recommend anyone to stay anywhere in Ft. Walton

Great Family Vacation

This unit was as described. We enjoyed being on the first floor with little ones and many beach toys. The closet doors could use an update and the sink hose had a small leak but overall a great stay. We would stay here again.

Quiet and On the beach

We were looking for somewhere best for my Son's first beach trip. We were able to benefit from the quiet community and bringing him in for naptimes was a piece of cake. The only con was there are no ramps for beach access.

Summer Beach Trip

My husband and I just left the Okaloosa Island area after staying at this property for a week. The condo was very clean and everything inside the condo functioned as it was supposed to. The condo was well supplied with linens to last the whole week. The water pressure from the bathtub faucet worked well, but the shower head pressure wasn’t extremely great (although tolerable). My only recommendation is that it probably needs to be assessed for calcium deposit or mineral buildup. It was frustrating at times, trying to get all the sand, saltwater, and chlorine from the pool out of my hair without great water pressure. Also, it took a while for the hot water to heat up in the shower for some reason, and on some days it heated up better than others. Something to do with the time of the day and how many people were using the hot water at a given time, I’m sure. With all this said, none of this was an inconvenience to the point where I wouldn’t stay here again. The accessibility of this specific unit was great! It was really effortless to go hang out on the beach and then run back to the condo if we needed to use the restroom or fill up on snacks/beverages. Also, the mattress on the bed was extremely comfortable (always a big plus!) For the rate you pay, this condo is a very good bargain. It’s difficult to find a beachfront condo in this area without paying an arm and a leg. It’s an older condo complex, but it has been maintained very well, and my husband and I are not difficult people to please. My husband and I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this unit to anyone looking to travel to this area.
