Wonderful condo right on the beach! We were able to enjoy quiet time together away from others. The beach wasn’t crowded and the free beach chairs were a great perk! The condo was beautiful, comfortable king size bed and all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway.

Great Location

The location was great, the rental was spacious. The rooftop pool was wonderful. Our unit had a Murphy bed which was a big hit with the kids. The check-in and out process was simple and hassle free. The only mild inconveniences at the time of our visit was the elevator not working for a short time, and the smell of our rental when we first arrived. The staff was responsive and friendly. Overall a great time!

Beautiful and clean room, great location.

Me and my husband went to celebrate our anniversary and we had the best time. We wanted to stay in a small condo with not as many people and we were completely satisfied. Easy beach access and the location is great. We were not right in the middle of town, but close enough that everything was easily 5 or so minutes away. Our room was spotless and check-in/check-out was super easy with great instructions. The listing was spot-on accurate and there were no surprises. We also had Alexa equipped in our room and we could ask anything from pool codes to where were the best places to eat. Will stay again!

Location, Cleanliness, View...all terrific!

This property was fabulous! The location is perfect to just walk right out to your chairs and sit for the rest of the day. It was spotless and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped, but we didn't cook at all while there. We love this beach as there aren't high rises and it's a pretty easy drive over the bridge to Destin restaurants. HIGHLY recommend Boshamp's for fresh seafood! We make regular trips to the many beaches and this location and the condo itself would be on our top 5 for us as a couple within the 7 hour drive from home. The *only* improvement I could recommend is the lighting in the master bedroom. It's so very dark in there, which is just where the bedroom is location with no real windows. But, just changing the lighting to a more natural bulb instead of the harsh LED bulb would soften it up more...or just lamps on the side tables.

New kitchen coffee makers, plenty of kitchenware and towels. Condo was fantastic. Building has issues!! Elevators only work half the time and will never come to the 7th or 3rd floors. There was an alarm going off loudly in the lobby the entire time we were there. Took pictures and sent to property management several times, no one came out. Lock on pool gate does not always accept codes. Got locked inside pool with other guests. Finally box opened gate.

There is a new couch but there is not a loveseat. That made for limited seating for our party of four. There are only 2 chairs on the balcony so limited seating there also. Nicely updated bathrooms, except counter in master bath. Kitchen has not been updated but appliances were new. Nice set of cookware available, but there is not a crockpot. Cooking utensils provided were just the basics, but adequate.

Excellent stay at Gulfside 302

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this condo could not be more perfect. The walk to the water is a breeze and you are within a very short drive to a lot of fun activities. Also, the beach chair service was AMAZING! Thank goodness there was a grocery store close by. You will need to go to the store and stock up on anything and everything that you might need to stay there for an extended time(i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, spices/seasonings to cook, etc.). The building the condo is in was so quiet and the people that we did encounter were very nice. The condo itself is nice. We have a family of 4 with smaller children so it worked perfect for us. The kids did say that the fold out bed was a little uncomfortable, but not a deal breaker. All in all, we had a great stay! We would definitely consider renting this condo again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Gulfside complex was a lot smaller that we had stayed at before so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but from the minute we pulled into the parking lot we were amazed! There was a lady outside (I wish I’d gotten her name) we asked her about the parking and she was so sweet and helpful. She told us she had lived there 23 years, she even offered to spot for us pulling the truck in. The “smaller complex” turned out to be a plus because we never had trouble finding open beach chairs/unbrellas (the condo comes with free beach service) and the pool was pretty much always empty! And oh that pool! The rooftop pool was amazing! You look right out into the ocean from the pool, and we spent a lot of time up there since we had kinda yucky weather and double red flags on the beach during most of our stay! It’s further down the beach than we are used to, so not really anything in walking distance, but the location had its advantages because it was a lot less crowded and that made the traffic situation easier! I have no complaints and I’ve already been recommending this unit to my friends! Also, if you love fresh seafood, eat at The Shack. There were 4 adults that stayed and we had plenty of room. The balcony had a beautiful view, we spent alot of time out there, but also watched movies together in the living room. I could go on and on lol. A good time was had by all and I highly recommend this unit!!!
