Summary:

This cottage is made for Crystal Lake days with your favorite people and your dog. Enjoy classic Northern Michigan charm, clear water for boating, fishing, and swimming, and a space designed to help you truly unwind. Sip coffee at sunrise and cocktails at sunset from one of two twelve foot fishing kayaks. You may be planning your return before you leave. Guests must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian



The Space:

This single-level lakefront home offers 1,413 square feet of comfort and convenience. The primary bedroom features a king bed with a memory foam hybrid Serta mattress, an attached full bathroom, and deck access. The second bedroom has a queen bed with the same quality mattress. The third bedroom includes two twin bunk beds that sleep four. The sunroom has a sofa bed that sleeps two adults with a memory foam mattress. A second full bathroom is located in the hallway. The living room includes a gas fireplace and a smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for meal prep and cooking, and a full washer and dryer are available for guest use.

Step outside to a large side lawn with outdoor furniture, a gas grill, and yard games. A dock and mooring ball are available from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Guests also have access to two twelve-foot fishing kayaks with life jackets.



Guest Access:

There is parking for two or three vehicles directly in front of the cottage and additional parking for three or more vehicles across the street. The storage garage is not available for guest use. The nearest public boat launch is the Crystal Lake Boat Launch.



Getting Around:

30 min drive to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, and National Lakeshore. 11 min drive to the Village of Beulah 45 min to Downtown Traverse City. Winter can be tricky in Northern Michigan. We plow when 3" of snow or more falls. We highly recommend AWD vehicles when visiting in the winter.



Other Things to Note:

All guests must be 25 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be verified after booking confirmation. A $79 damage waiver fee is required for each stay and provides accidental damage coverage up to $1,000. If the amount of damage exceeds that or is found to have been caused intentionally, Manager reserves the right to seek additional costs.



A high chair and pack and play are available upon request for an additional charge. A nonrefundable credit card processing fee applies to all reservations.



Dogs are welcome for an additional fee, with a maximum of two per stay. All dogs must be kept on a leash when outdoors. Guests should take their pets with them or kennel them when leaving the home. Please clean up after your pets and be considerate of neighbors by preventing excessive barking.



For stays of fourteen days or longer, a mid-stay cleaning is required. Guests may request a mid-stay cleaning for shorter visits if desired.



The dock is available for use from Memorial Day through Labor Day. It is intended for fifteen-minute loading and unloading of passengers only. A mooring ball just beyond the dock is available for boat storage between rides. Winds and waves can increase quickly and may cause damage to boats or docks, as there are no protective bumpers installed.
