This property is home to a beautiful beachfront on Crystal Lake, great for swimming or kayaking with a kayak provided! It features 2 floors, 3 bedrooms (1 master bedroom downstairs and 2 upstairs bedrooms), & a full bathroom. There is a large downstairs living room with a TV and fireplace along with plenty of sunshine! The kitchen has all basic cooking appliances as well as a coffeemaker and dishwasher. A washer and dryer are provided for guest use. Provides for a great Crystal Lake vacation!


NEIGHBORHOOD:

The home is located on the fabulous west shore of Crystal Lake, which consists primarily of very high-end vacation homes, many of which are valued at over $1 million. The home is on legendary M-22 as it travels along Crystal Lake, so it makes for a great location for not only exploring Crystal Lake, but also taking M-22 north up into the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and exploring the fun and charming beach towns of the Leelanau Peninsula. The home is less than three miles from Rock's Landing, which is a lovely and very private high-end restaurant that is right on Crystal Lake and allows for dining right on the lake!

Outside of the immediate neighborhood, the home is just a few miles from downtown Frankfort (to the south), which has a charming collection of shops, restaurants, cafes, and a microbrewery (Stormcloud). Frankfort also has a fantastic public beach on Lake Michigan and a popular historic lighthouse.

Lwardcove is also just 3.7 miles from Old Indian Trail and the start of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (to the north). Thus, it makes for a great location for hiking, cross-country skiing, kayaking, tubing, and exploring all of Sleeping Bear Dunes!

From the house, Traverse City is also only about a 1-hour drive to the east. Traverse City is the business, arts, recreation, entertainment, dining, and shopping hub of all of Northern Michigan and it provides a vast variety of "bigger city" things to see and do.


ACCESS:

Guests have access to the entire property


SPACE:

The property provides two floors with three bedrooms. A master bedroom with a king bed is downstairs while upstairs there are two twin size beds in each room. There is great downstairs living room with a beautiful fireplace and TV along with windows for sunlight! There is another living room upstairs as well with another TV. There are dining tables both upstairs and downstairs for eating and a great kitchen for cooking delicious meals! The kitchen also provides coffee and a dishwasher.

Moving on outside there is a beautiful beach on Crystal Lake with a kayak for guest use. The lake is great for swimming as it warms up quite fasts for lakes in Michigan.


TRANSIT:

It is highly recommended that guests have their own vehicle.


PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1) SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited.

2) CAPACITY: No more than 6 guests are in total.

3) PET POLICY: We allow up to 2 dogs at the property. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. More than 2 dogs is also prohibited. Pets are not permitted on furniture and they are not permitted to be left at the property alone. If bringing a dog or 2, please make certain that they are included on the reservation and that the pet fee is paid.

4) INDOOR FIREPLACE: The indoor fireplace is not to be used by guests.

5) NO AIR CONDITIONING: Please note that the property does NOT have air conditioning. As such, it may get warm in the house during the summer if it is warm outside.

6) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

7) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.

8) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.
