River Front Property on the Amite River

This is a perfect spot if you want to have a quiet and relaxing time away. The location is perfectly situated a little over an hour from both Baton Rouge and New Orleans. While getting there, you will drive down a 2 mile road that's peacefully lined with trees and swamp before it meets the pavement to the neighborhood. Once you enter the neighborhood, you will instantly feel at ease and in vacation mode. When you walk upstairs, you will be greeted by the Amite River and serene trees. Walking through the front door, you will be delighted to see the open space of the kitchen, dining and living room that invites togetherness. If anyone needs time away, you will find any of the 3 bedrooms will provide ample space. The master bedroom provides a queen sized bed and a full bathroom that has a shower/tub combo. The second bedroom has bunk beds where the bottom bunk has a queen sized bed while the upper bunk is a twin. The third bedroom has two twin beds. The two bedrooms share the hall bathroom which provides plenty of space and a bath/tub combo.

There is plenty of outdoor seating on the upper and low patio. You will find that this house is perfect for reading, playing games or any assortment of outdoor activities. At the property, you will find a one person canoe and kayak with paddles and lifejackets. There is a boat dock attached to the house which provides easy access in and out of the water, as well as, a place to hook up your boat. The neighborhood provides a boat launch, so feel free to bring your boat and enjoy a ride!
