This charming 35 m² one-bedroom apartment offers a cosy and convenient retreat, ideal for couples. While located on the ground floor, please note that a few steps are required to access the property.

For added convenience, the apartment provides access to a shared laundry room and a communal terrace, offering additional space to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

The open-plan living area is thoughtfully designed, featuring a comfortable sofa, a TV for your entertainment, and a dining table where you can enjoy meals or unwind after a day of exploring.

The kitchenette comes fully equipped with essential appliances and cookware, including a stove, oven, and microwave — perfect for preparing home-cooked meals with ease.

The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and fitted with hotel-quality linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep.

The bathroom includes all the necessary amenities, such as clean towels and complimentary toiletries for your comfort.

The apartment is always professionally cleaned for your comfort.

Please note That There are currently ongoing construction works so that the area may become a bit dusty and noisy during the daytime. Additionally, parking near the property can be limited at times, so please allow extra time to find a spot.

Guests will have access to the entire home, the shared laundry room, and the terrace.

Nestled on a charming, steep cobbled street in São Pedro, this property embodies the traditional character of old Funchal. Guests can stroll along the historic Calçada do Pico, lined with painted sidewalks and classic Portuguese architecture, and enjoy glimpses of Funchal Bay in the distance.

Just a short walk away is the serene Parque de Santa Catarina, offering lush gardens, sculptures, and a peaceful escape from the city buzz.

Nearby cultural gems include the Casa-Museu Frederico de Freitas, a beautifully preserved 17th-century manor filled with art and antiques, as well as the tranquil Universo de Memórias João Carlos Abreu, a civic centre steeped in local heritage.

Culture lovers will enjoy descending the Calçada to the historic Convento de Santa Clara and the nearby Museu Quinta das Cruzes, both showcasing Madeira's rich past.
A short drive or scenic walk brings you to the Fortaleza do Pico atop Pico dos Frias, where sweeping panoramic views of the City and harbour await.

Practical amenities are abundant: local cafés, bars, and restaurants are tucked into nearby streets. Everyday conveniences, such as a gas station, ATM, and parking, are also within easy reach. Public transport links connect the neighbourhood effortlessly to the rest of Funchal.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.

The nearest bus stop, Beco Amaro, is just a 5-minute walk.

Madeira Airport is a 19-minute drive from the property.

This is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before enter into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
