Our recent stay at this property was unfortunately very disappointing due to significant cleanliness, maintenance, and potential health concerns.Upon arrival, the home was not properly cleaned. The floors had not been adequately swept or mopped, the baseboards were visibly dirty, and there was a noticeable amount of hair in both the bathtub and shower. Additionally, the kitchen and bathroom drawers and cabinets contained crumbs and debris and had clearly not been wiped out. The overall condition did not meet basic cleanliness expectations.We also experienced several maintenance issues during our stay. The bathtub drain plug was broken, making it unusable. The shower had extremely low water pressure, and the shower head was mounted unusually low, making it uncomfortable to use. The sliding door locks were very difficult to secure and appeared partially broken, which raised security concerns. Many of the blinds throughout the property were also broken or missing slats.Most concerning, after returning home, all three members of our family developed multiple painful, swollen bites consistent with flea or bed bug exposure. Our dogs are treated year-round for fleas and ticks, and we found no evidence of infestation on them. This was especially troubling and caused significant discomfort and concern for our family.We contacted the host regarding these issues but have received no response.We hope these concerns are addressed so future guests do not have a similar experience.
